My fifth stay in six years. A two star hotel with a 5 star location. The small staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is ideal for the single traveler or for couples. The Flor Rivoli is one of the best located hotels for exploring this great city. It is at a major transit hub - Châtelet. Just 20...

The location is the best part about this hotel. It's a stone's throw from the Chatelet metro station, and an easy 15 minute walk to several Paris points of interest including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre museum. Our room on the second floor had windows that opened onto the street below and the view of the Parisian buildings was...

My mum and I stayed in a twin room for 4 nights. As others have mentioned, the hotel is only average but the location is fantastic as you are within walking distance to some of the main sights such as the Louvre & Notre Dame. There is also a main metro station (Chatelet Les Halles) just at the end of...

In our 10 day stay here we saw that there is two sides to this hotel. This is undeniably one of the best locations in Paris - 10 minute walk to the Louve or Notre Dame etc. Five minute walk to the subway and to any location outside of walking distance. In addition if you are a budget traveler like...

I chose this hotel as it was near the RER Les Halles station which is in the heart of the city and the price. The hotel does not disguise it is a two star so guests should not be expecting luxury but clean, small rooms at a reasonable price. Staff at reception were helpful, especially where I returned in the...

The staff are great. The hotel itself is awful. The elevator is the size of a broom closet and feels like a death trap, the hallways were too narrow for my moms walker. The shower was pathetic, hairdryer from the 80's. No air conditioning so if you open the window to cool off its very noisy.

Madam, Unfortunately our hotel is not practical for a disabled person, i'm sorry for that but a lot of commentary says that the lift and the rooms are small, so I don't understand why you have reserved in our hotel. We have never said in the website or any brochure that we have air conditioning, so why you are surprise...

Small simple hotel, near all the main attractions, friendly staff, clean bed. The room we choose had a small bathroom a bit tired, but good enough for a short stay, it had a safe which was good, so we could leave the valuables in the room without worries! They serve a simple breakfast for a honest price of 6euros, with...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
