My husband and I choose this hotel for our 7 days staying in Paris. When we arrived we were welcomed by a very nice and friendly receptionist. The elevator was very small, fitting barely 2 people or 1 person and a luggage. The room had no fridge, which we missed when we made the reservation, so if you plan to...

I had a great stay at the Regyn's. The room was small but cute and the bed very comfortable. Decoration was simple but very French, and the view onto the rear courtyard was attractive and the sounds of the church bells and Montmartre life really lovely. The hotel is situated try well for seeing Montmartre and for the nearby Abbesses...

Perfectly located 2 minutes from the Abesses metro stop. Very close to restaurants and shops. The room was small but this is Europe. There is an elevator - European style, small. The room I had #220 could have used some sprucing up but the location and the price and the staff made up for any short comings. These are not...

Location: Regyn's is perhaps perfectly located if, like us, you like to stay in the Montmartre region when you visit Paris. Its front door opens directly onto a small square, in the centre of which is the Abbesses Metro stop. From here it's 15 mins on the Metro to the Gare du Nord. The hotel is a 10-minute climb to...

Small hotel with small rooms but the room was very clean and the bed was good. Not so nice was the sounds from other rooms and the street. we had a room on 3 floor. In all a good choise if...

The hotel is 50 yards from Abesses Métro station, right in the middle of Montmartre. Sacré Coeur Basilica and all the attractions (and distractions) are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is neat and the staff are friendly and efficient. The lift is very small requiring my wife and I to use it separately with our luggage; but that...

I always stay at this hotel when I visit Paris. Only a few steps to the metro station Abbesses and lovely cafes, bakeries, restaurants are all nearby. Although the most of the staffs are nice, I found it quite difficult to communicate with them in English. Single rooms are small, but it wasn't a problem at all as I didn't...

Superb location, just steps from the Abesses metro stop in the lovely Montmartre neighborhood. Easy access to the Sacre Cour and to all of Paris via the metro. Lots of good restaurants and other attractions close by. The room had a bathroom in it, unheard of for the price own a Paris hotel. My only criticism was the wifi. It...

We stayed at the Hotel Regyn's Montmartre in the July 2014...what a lovely hidden treasure! From the outside you almost miss this lovely, charming hotel. Once inside you find yourself to be in a cozy, quaint hotel that 'IS' Paris. We requested a higher level room and it was absolutely worth it, the view of the Eiffel Tower and the...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
