Stayed recently for a night before staying outside of Paris for work. Wanted a comfortable and affordable place in a great location and Duo fit the bill on all counts. Prices in November fluctuated between 160-210/night and locked in on TripAdvisor for 171 for a single. Arriving early in the morning I expected just to be able to leave my...

As recommended by our friends, we decided to stay at Duo for our week-end in Paris. We were not dissapointed, even surprised to find great value hotel for above board price. At arrival you see a fantastic location, just across the street with a huge shopping center... Notre dame, Louvre, Champs elyses are also easy to reach without using transport....

This is the third time I've stayed at the Hotel Duo Paris. Whether you're on holiday or on a business trip, your Paris experience begins the minute you leave the station or airport, but when you walk through the doors of Hotel Duo, you're immediately at ease. Beautiful boutique decor in the lobby (as well as in the rooms) and...

I just love small boutique hotels and this is one of them. Great staff, cool interior design, and nice rooms. The location is excellent, with lot's of small brasseries and boutiques just outside the door.

A much better quality of reception on this visit. No hostile reception staff. My room, on the 5th floor, was lovely, with two French windows and a Juliette balcony. I stay here because it's perfect for the shops and restaurants of Le Marais and it's only a few stops on the Metro from Gare du Nord on line 4. The...

The hotel is located in a great spot in Paris - close to the train station and easy to walk to the different Department stores. The foyer is nice and modern with friendly staff. We had a double room - however we were quite surprised how small the room was, we were fine with that but our room (which looked...

Dear Tania-Ivan B, Thank you for staying at Hotel Duo. Le Marais is indeed a spot-on location for shopping and overall visit of Paris. Rue Francs-Bourgeois, Rue de Rosiers and Rue du Vieille du Temple are most known for little fashion boutiques and best restaurants in area. We are thrilled to hear you appreciated the Lobby, renovated in 2015 and...

Hotel Duo is right at the center of Le Marais surrounded by several restaurants and shops. The place is hip and modern but the room is very, very small - a good place to sleep and shower but too small to just hang out. But, why hang out in your room when there are tons to see in Paris? Front...

Dear Anna94104, Thank you for taking the time to write us your feedback on your recent stay at Hotel Duo. Le Marais is not only a historically aristocratic district of Paris, it hosts many outstanding buildings of historic and architectural importance, but also the centre of modern art, and original boutique shops open all the weekend. The hotel is located...

Great location, great hotel and great staff, but the WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, only the lobby. Make sure to go to American Vintage down the street for comfy women's clothes. Take the tour bus to see the city.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
