This hotel has an optimization for a short stay traveler. Because it has a great centered location in Paris easily accessible from RER station (Les Halles). Just some minutes walking distance from Louvre Museum, Concorde Square and Champ Elysees. You can even walk to Eiffel or Notre Dame less than an hour. Since Paris Hotels are so expensive, if you...

This is an older hotel central to a lot of attractions. I was told that next year renovations would be starting. At this time, it is quaint and right next to a bar which was only loud on the weekend. The staff is quite helpful, much to our relief as we had a problem (not with them) that they tried...

I would not recommend to anyone. Apart from being really well centralized this hotel offers nothing. Our air conditioning unit was faulty. Shower handle broken, the room was that dirty we tried opening the window for fresh air. The courtyard which is the size of a shoe box was that dirty me and my partnet could not sleep. We complained...

Hotel reception was a construction site, and staff were not particularly welcoming. Room was much smaller and less comfortable than anticipated. Location was great, but I wouldn't choose this again for a romantic Parisian holiday.

I stayed here for a few nights in May and I'm glad I chose this hotel! It is very central, literally a 5 minute walk away from The Louvre, River Seine, Jardins des Tuileries, and more attractions! The staff were friendly, room was average sized and the bathroom was clean with hot water and a very good pressured shower and...

While the hotel itself was old and did not smell so fresh, I have to say that the staff was extremely personable. They tried to be as accommodating as possible. This hotel needs a major makeover. Aside from that the location was good. The buffet breakfast in the morning for $16.50 was ridiculous for what they serve!

Very run down and dingy hotel. Strong musty smell in room coupled with strong perfume to cover it up. Missing amenities, no tv remote, no iron. Only pluses are price and hotel location. Would not stay here in the future.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
