We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was nice, I think. When we arrived our room wasn't ready so we had to go for a walk for about an hour and it was raining so we were not happy at hall. The room was a bit old and small. Overall it was a good price/quality.

Our first trip to Paris, on the BIg Trip, and traveling to 6 countries in 6 weeks by Very Fast Train. But just can't wait to get back and when I do I'll definitely head straight back to this hotel! A stone's throw from a Edgar Quinet Paris Metro station entrance as well as Gare Montparnasse international train station, this...

On our way from Orly Airport to Montparnasse station we wanted a one night stop. This hotel was located perfectly, since the RER & metro from the airport allowed few shifts. The hotel is in walking distance from the Montparnasse station. Room is very small, but clean. No breakfast room, but a nice bakery 50 m up the street.

I've been to Paris for the weekend and choose this hotel. Good room, with everithing essential, clean and comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is extra on request. Average wifi in the rooms because access point is locate near the elevators. Very good location, excellent transport conections to all parts of Paris and airports, plenty of restaurants around. We (my partner and I) came to Paris on a budget which involved travelling from London and back by bus and finding special offers to Disneyland. Similarly, we waited for a last minute deal for a hotel and paid a good price for three nights so wasn't expecting anything extravagant. The hotel was just right for what we paid. Good,...

This hotel is a short walk to the metro station. If you intend to see Paris by metro then this is the place to stay! There's a wide selection of restaurants in the area. Room was clean and had a very nice view from the balcony. Note however that the elevator is quiet small and the lobby to your room...

We were a couple staying 3 nights in November 2013. We were very happy about the decision to stay there, and would recommend it for other people to stay. It is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel, with not very big rooms (but, hey, it's Paris, you won't find big rooms) in a great area. We give it 4 and not...

We stayed at the Odessa Montparnasse for 2 nights in September. We loved our room (the one with the balcony facing the street) but it was a bit small and noisy at night. I love the neighbourhood and this was convenient, but I would prefer something that fits my low budget travel better.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
