My wife and I were visiting Paris for four days before a Viking cruise. We took the RER B from CDG airport to Luxembourg gardens. A short walk North on St Michel to rue Souflot and just to the right of the Pantheon is this gem. Katrina met us with a smile and stored our luggage so we could go...

I was put up here by Airbnb -- in a big suite, no less -- after some issues at an apartment I had booked. Reception welcomed me at 1:40 AM and were fast, efficient and kind. I stayed in a suite with a bathroom larger than some Parisian studio apartments and a large bedroom/living area. I was impressed by a...

This was the second hotel we used in Paris. It was a good hotel. Clean. Loved the location! Great proximity to Luxembourg gardens and RER station. And the beautiful cathedral just on the other side of the Pantheon was one of my favorite discoveries. The staff was also very helpful in arranging taxi service for our super early flight out...

Paris is a busy place. This hotel is in a nice area. We upgrade our room for 20e. This room was a good size. Very clean and very comfortable! The view from our room was spectacular. The service was very nice. Parking can be tricky but we were lucky to find a spot out front and have free parking. We...

Lovely hotel, friendly staff who all spoke good English, fantastic location, room overlooking the Pantheon. Lots of good eating and drinking places in surrounding area and generally a good atmosphere. Easy walking to Notre Dame, la Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de triumph etc. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Firstly, the location is fantastic. The Pantheon is just outside the front door, and the hotel has an inviting small honesty bar and reception on the ground floor. I stayed here for a month long business trip. That's where things got complicated. I booked via a third party provider (who I have used for about 9 years without issue). My...

Comfortable and great location. Old building that has been decorate kind of a Moulin Rouge decor. Great staff. B sure to visit the Pantheon while there. It's not that far of a walk to go to Notre DAM. It's also a short walk to the gardens at the end of the street that are beautiful.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
