This hotel is in a great location, right next to the train station and bus stop. There is also a great patisserie just across the road, perfect for baguettes for breakfast! There are also lots of cafes/restaurants near by. We had two rooms for our family of 5 - 3 teens, each set up as 3 single beds. Beds were...

We stayed here for a weekend in Paris. It's a perfect base for a city break. We only booked the room and got breakfast on the go from bakeries. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The proximity to the underground is perfect (about a minute) which provides easy access to the major tourist destinations. This is not a 4/5* hotel...

A friend and I stayed here in October for a few days. The location couldn't be better--steps away from Luxembourg Gardens and the RER B train to CDG. Also can easily walk to so many museums, Notre Dame, the Marais district, other tourist attractions. Room was on small side and bathroom was old but large and clean. Breakfast, while expensive...

I reserved there for a business partner who needed an accomodation close to Luxembourg station. The location cannot be better and at the time of booking, the price was reasonnable. However my friend needed to work on his computer, but the wifi was down when he checked-in, and remained out of order till he checked out late in the morning....

We took the train from Orly to Luxembourg and came out in the rain. Luckily this hotel is only one half block away. The room was quirky but clean and big for Paris standards. We had to take the bathroom toilet paper out of the holder because it was behind the toilet and it was difficult to reach. The elevator...

Chose hotel based on location. Wanted to be close to airport transport (Orly) and walking distance to Latin Quarter/Seine etc. Hotel is just around the corner from Luxembourg station on the RER B line servicing both Orly and Charles de Gaulle airport. Equally close to beautiful Luxembourg garden. And about 10 min walk to the Seine. Hotel was fairly standard....

This hotel is located in the Latin Quarter. It is has everything within walking distance, restaurants and shops. Luxembourg gardens a five minute walk. This hotel was in the perfect location, just metres from the RER station (we caught the train from the airport with no problems), lots of nearby restaurants and the Luxembourg Gardens were just across the road. Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

The heart of the Latin Quarter beats just a short step away: the Luxemburg gardens, boulevard Saint-Michel, the Sorbonne, Notre-Dame and the Pantheon are all in the vicinity.
