My husband, parents, three sisters, partners, and I stayed at The Bel Ami 2nd May for two nights. Our five superior rooms were on the first floor and although all lacked any real views were stylish and comfortable. We loved the contemporary feel to the reception and restaurant areas. .The swinging chairs reminded us of The Sanderson in London! ....

I stayed here with my daughter, niece and sister-in-law for a girls' getaway. What a gem! The location was perfect -- walking distance to shops and cafés as well as the D'orsay, Notre Dame and to the Marais. Service was wonderful and all the staff was friendly and helpful. I've been to Paris several times with my husband and usually...

My husband and I stayed at Bel Ami from 4/20-4/27/2014 and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The location was absolutely the best, giving us easy access to both banks of the Seine, the neighborhood was quiet at night yet provided us with wonderful bistros...but most of all the hotel and staff were wonderful! Everyone was professional, friendly, and did...

My wife and I stayed at Bel Ami from 4/20 to 4/27/14 and had a wonderful stay there. Location was perfect and all the staff could not be nicer. I mean all the staff from front desk, concierges etc; they were all a pleasure. We could not be happier with our choice of hotel.

Don't stay in room 405 which is adjacent to a noisy housekeeping and utility storage room which disturbs you from before 7am onwards with staff going in and out of the store. Location great, staff lovely, design boutiquey and fun

Hôtel Bel Ami enjoys a prime location in St-Germain-des-Prés, surrounded by the best shops, cafes, restaurants and art galleries in the area. The hotel has a boutique atmosphere with a fair service. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
