Had a Superior room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Ladies at reception were great. Walking distance to Napoleon's tomb, Eiffel Tower, shops and restaurants. Stayed 6 nights then traveled south to Amboise and Chinon. Would stay again.

We booked this hotel last minute. We were booked in a different hotel where they promised a view of the Eiffel Tower, but being French and very unaccommodating to Americans, there was no view. We stayed one night and then just walked into the Duquesne and were able to get a room there. The staff was very very nice. Breakfast...

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thank you for your nice review. We are glad to see that you have enjoyed your room, the location of the hotel, and we were satisfied with our staff. It was a pleasure to have you in our hotel and we do hope to see you again if you come back to Paris. Best regards, Olivier

While the service was friendly, and the room was clean, the room was unbelievably small, considering we booked there biggest room. It had a king bed with a lounging sofa and a desk in which you literally had a foot space around to walk from spot to spot in the room. The bathroom was nicely appointed with a separate toilet...

We stayed at this lovely hotel as part of a Rick Steve's tour along with some extra nights before and after the tour. The reservations for our independent stay were handled efficiently, promptly and seamlessly. We stayed in two different rooms at beginning and end of our two week trip. The layout/size was different in each but all the amenities...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Duquesne Eiffel at the same time as some other reviewers who complained about the work on the air conditioning system. We were on the top floor (room 56), and even with the work taking place almost directly above us, we never heard a sound while in our room. Most hotels don't announce when...

We stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel in mid April and had a wonderful time. We were greeted by warm and friendly smiles as soon as we stepped into the hotel. We stayed on 5/F with a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. The room is lovely and clean, and is quiet for a...

This was my first trip to Paris so I cannot compare this hotel to others but what I can say is that the staff is amazing! They were 100% helpful with all of our needs, from helping us navigate the metro and bus system, to recommending restaurants, to recommending out-of-the-way sights, to printing out map directions and helping with parking...

We stayed for a long weekend here after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. Situated close the the military school and not far from the Eiffel Tower, this is a reasonably priced hotel with lovely rooms and very friendly staff. As we were spending much of our time looking around Paris we opted for a room without...

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you're looking for a nice, quiet, cozy, and centrally located hotel! It is a 5 min. walk to the Champs Mars which is right next to the Tour Eiffel. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the same every day (cereal, croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, eggs,...

The hotel is centrally located and a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are not large but clean and comfortable. Helene and Jennifer were always helpful with making recommendations, giving us directions, getting us cabs and were equally as friendly.

Neighbourhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
