To be in Paris in a 3star hotel is very nice. Very small room (and mine was a double) but in Paris is larger than usual. Is in a quite street right next to many clubs and bars. Close to 2 metro stations. The reception is very old style, but the rooms are nice with windows over the street with...

A am glad I have chosen this hotel. Warm welcome and good service. Marvelous view of Parisian roofs and Sacre Coeur Basilica in the distance. It is in the area of Grands Boulevards. And the price was friendly. I was there in August 2010 (could not note this date below as there was no such choice) and still remember my...

When we first got to the hotel the lobby looked quite dirty and shabby. We got our room on the second floor which was very small and smelled weird. There was no aircondition besides a small floor ventilator... Breakfast was not that good with lousy selections... The location was great! We could walk to anywhere from the hotel. But we...

The hotel is very well located. The rooms are not big but you can find anything you need. The staff is very friendly, the room rates are really affordable. What else do you need whan you are in Paris? We will definitely come back

I booked it blind via Hotwire, read the reviews and got scared. This an old hotel, very basic in a good ,ovation in Paris. I would not reserve a room at this hotel in the summer, since no Aircondintion. For the price is about 100$ this what you can get in Paris. There are many other hotels in the same...

Was allotted this hotel as a mystery hotel. Would never have booked it knowing it has no air-conditioning and rooms are so shabby. Extremely small rooms which are old, dirty and shabby. We had booked a room for 3 people. Our stay was in the middle of a summer heat wave and this hotel has NO Air-conditioning! The fan provided...

I found this hotel online, and since the price seemed ok, and the location was very good (for the price range), I booked it. Big mistake. Another big mistake was not to pay enough attention to the reviews (I know, I know). Where do I begin... the rooms are teeny teeny tiny, and in the Paris summer, VERY hot. Add...

A very basic hotel. Clean room and bathroom. A safe, TV, and storage space and bag rack. The room looked a bit dreary, though amazingly in the daylight looked better. French windows that could open which is nice and you can let the natural air in. However I found the area very noisy especially in the morning. If you closed...

Hotel is acceptable depending on the price you pay. Rooms and bathrooms are SMALL. Personnel is kind. I would propose the hotel to paint the lobby in white, renew the furniture (minimalist please), release free wifi and try to improve bathrooms sizes (I can not imagine how...)

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel as part of a trip to Paris with friends. It happened to be the hottest week of the summer with a sudden heatwave that no-one was prepared for! The hotel is not air conditioned but neither is the rest of Paris, which came as a complete surprise to our Californian friends who couldn't...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
