Pointe Rivoli is perfectly located in central Paris (in walking distance from Notre Dame, Louvre, Centre Pompidou etc.) just outside Saint Paul metro station. There are small cafes, bakeries and a supermarket within 20 meters distance. Our room was causy and warm (not very spacious but good enough for a couple) and our bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the...

I spent one night here the last time I was in Paris and had a wonderful experience. Located in the Marais, Hotel Pointe Rivoli is perfectly situated for exploring the rich neighborhood as well as many popular tourist sites. The staff speaks English very well and were extremely helpful, e.g. helping my carry my suitcase up the stairs, etc. The...

Having researched for a hotel online we found this one, the shabby chic room and other bright colourful rooms were the ones advertised in the pictures as double rooms. We loved the look of them so booked up. Both of us were very excited about our trip and where we had booked to stay. Find the hotel was easy it...

I went for a few days visit with a friend and we were very disapointed by this hotel. Our room was completly different from the pictures online. It was very small, drab and dirty. The stairs are awful but at least we were aware of them beforehand, unlike the state of the room. We had booked the cheapest room but...

TV isn't connected to satellite, aircon in the whole hotel doesn't work, room was filthy, flies and mosquitoes everywhere which we had to buy our own bugspray to get rid of. But was a good location (if difficult to find given the entrance is a small hole in the wall next to busy shops). Would have been alright value for...

Stayed for 2 nights during Euro 2016, paid quite a bit for the room but I knew in advance all hotels were charging extra so just had to grin and bare it. The St. Paul métro stop is just outside the door of the hotel which is a plus point, I've no idea what this place charges normally, should be...

There is a Starbucks right opposite to the hotel as well, the reception staff were extremely polite and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy , We booked a single room &...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. First let me say the hotel is well placed in the Marais, situated right next to the St Paul metro station. The room itself, on the first floor, was large and clean , and the bed was comfortable. Staff at reception were also very pleasant and helpful. But I'm afraid after that...

Gave us the 6th floor. Hotel is in a great location but going up 6 floors in an extremely narrow and dangerous staircase is not worth it. Book yourself a hotel nearby with a lift-it's worth the extra money. The effort to go up and down 6 floors ruined the mood and killed the energy.

The hotel is set 10 minute walk from away from Notre Dame and outside the front door is one of the main metro lines. So location is perfect. The rooms have slightly wacky decor, and some rooms suffer with mould. 11 of us stayed here and for the price we paid couldn't really moan. It's not luxury but for a...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
