The Hotel was only a 10 minute walk from our airport - paris RoissyBus stop. It was a 5 minute walk from the Louvre and the Seine. The Louvre Marsollier Opera was on a quiet street, so no night-time traffic noise. The staff were friendly, helpful, and good fun. The rooms were great - super comfy beds. Spotlessly clean -...

Stayed here in December 2015.Lovely place. In a quiet neighbourhood but a bit dark at night. Although not unsafe. Efficient check-in. Staff always present. Metro just 5 mins walk away. We stayed in winter. The room was centrally heated and hot during the night but we opened the window to cool the room. The air-con was there but we couldn’t...

This hotel is very well located, close to the opera and the landmark around ( printemp, galerie lafayette) our stay there was ok but there are few points that make it not as good as it could be. The size of the room is really small maybe less than 10 square metre and the bath room s just around 1...

I like this hotel. I really like the bar -- very old school. But its quite large, in a very busy area, very expensive and I find there are better choices. L'Hotel comes to mind. Room was fine but nothing exceptional. Staff is very competent and probably the best thing besides the bar is the great staff.

We continue to return to this hotel each time we are in Paris. We love the charm, ambiance, and the feeling that it is "home away from home." The location of the hotel is perfect. It's halfway between the Louvre and the Opera Garnier, with metro stations and bus stops just a few minutes from the hotel. Lots of good...

Me and my family booked this hotel online for 3 rooms and then the terrorist attacks on Paris happened and my mother was uncomfortable with still going. I had remembered that I had specifically chosen this hotel because they advertised "free cancellation". So I was able to cancel 2 of the rooms online, however it would not let me cancel...

Dear Customer, After having carefully read your comment it appears that there is an urgent need to re-establish the truth about what really happened with your reservation. What you are pretending is indeed not true at all. You had booked 3 rooms through BOOKING website. 2 rooms were booked at normal cancellation condition (48 hours) and 1 with non refundable...

This is our first trip to Europe. Although from other reviews I expected a small room...I did not imagine it would be any smaller than what I have experienced on a cruise ship...I was wrong! That being said it suited our needs just fine. The water in the bathroom was always hot with good pressure, the room was cleaned everyday...

We chose this hotel for location as it seemed to be close to the Louvre, Garnier Opera as well as Champs Ellysees. It did not disappoint. The location was excellent, walking distance to shops and restaurants including Galleries Lafayette. There were also 3 metro stations within walking distance. All the staff at the hotel including reception staff and the lady...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
