Pros: - super comfy bed - very quiet, was right next door to a theatre place but that was dead after 8pm - decent breakfast, very cost effective for the area - easy walk to Eiffel, Louvre and Notre Dame - Supermarket directly across the road Cons: - very squishy room, but to be expected given the area - not...

I stayed here when attending a conference. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help. The facility was very clean and well maintained and very quiet. Although there are main streets near by our room was very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Excellent 8th arrondissement location in terms of proximity to sites, restaurants, shopping, etc. That's the plus. Staff is helpful. Hotel rooms are small but very clean. Since you can't adjust heat or AC the window has to remain open. That's the big minus because the hotel is located right across the street from an elementary school (lots of early morning...

I always stay in this hotel when I travel to Paris. It is conveniently located (a few minutes walk to Madeleine and Concord metro stations). It is close to the main shopping street, aka Faubourg St Honore, the two important department stores (Printemps, Galleries LaFayette), and it is safe because it is close to many foreign embassies. Room is also...

I've spent a total of 9 nights in Hotel Alison over two stays, each time in a single room. I can thoroughly recommend it. The location is superb: close to Champs Élysées and many other key locales in Paris, easy access to the Metro, and very quiet particularly at night. It's a very secure neighbourhood, being close to the Palais...

I just returned from a two-night stay at Hotel Alison. It is a small boutique hotel that offers good service and impeccable cleanliness. I am very pleased. The location is safe and convenient near Place de la Madeleine. There is a good bakery just a few doors from the hotel where I bought a delicious pain de chocolat and coffee...

We stayed here twice this year, 10 days in June and again with our family for 3 days in October. I give this hotel a top score, when we return to Paris without question this is where we will stay. This beautiful little hotel is in a very central location with a easy walk to the major sites. It is...

Convenient to the Metro, close to Place de la Concorde and Champs Elysees, an easy walk to ... I can't even begin to list them all. The rooms are small, but very clean and cozy. I speak French but the staff also had very good English. From my room (street side), you could see the reflection of the Eiffel Tower...

We stayed here for one night. Our room was on the 6th floor. The room was modern, but it was very small. Maybe as it was in the roof. I couldn't stand in the shower without hitting my head so sat down only to discover the bath was not clean. The shower also had the door in the wrong place...

  • Inadequate shower space. But otherwise a nice en suite bathroom.
  • Tiny room, watch your head... but cozy and charming.
