We have just returned from a short weekend away with our two children to Paris. We stayed at the Hotel Peyris Opera which I found through this site. It is a great hotel if you are travelling to Paris via Eurostar as you are literally a ten-minute walk from the station itself as well as a vast array of dining...

We just stayed at the Peyris for a long weekend and mostly enjoyed our stay. The location is terrific, it was easy to get to from the airport and the neighborhood is great for (mostly) Asian food. It also is a short stroll to major sights and there are two subway stations close by. The room was ok. The hallways were...

Nice area, short 10 min walk to grands boulevard metro stop. Room was European small, staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Though outside temps were in the high 60's room was uncomfortably hot. Had to sleep with the doors opened which made for noise from crowds below. One day room was not cleaned. Disappointed after a long day of sightseeing,...

Pleasant and helpful staff, kudos to Alex from front desk. The room is spacious, considering. The housekeeping made the room welcoming every time they clean it and provided enough amenities. Breakfast is good. Generous with their water and juice. Highly recommended.

A nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, at the heart of Paris. (Bathroom was a bit small though.) Location is awesome: very near to the metro station and there are dozens of good restaurants around. The breakfast is good.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
