Very good location, 10 min easy walk from Gare de Nord. Very near 2 metro stations and a 20min walk to Sacre Coeur and Louvre in ½ hour or so. Quite a lot of shops and bars in the area. Rooms seem to vary. Rooms are small. 406 is a small inner facing room looking out on to a small...

If you want a cosy hotel near the DuPont train station and you have no idea about Paris, this hotel is the ideal place. The staff is so friendly and always at your disposal, to explain any question you may have. Small rooms, as every hotel in Paris has, always very clean. A great variety at the breakfast, so fresh!...

We love the Hotel Palm because it provides everything we need for a short stay, with friendly staff to greet us 24/7, quiet room 503 has a classic balcony from which the Eiffel Tower and Opera can be seen. And there were roses in flowers on the neighbouring balcony, even at the end of October! Incredible value, free snack refreshments...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
