Basic adequate hotel for a short stay in Paris. Staff were friendly enough, no problems. A bit a building work going on though, maybe this should have been outlined on their website. The hotel is in an area were quite a few foreigners gather, we were not approached but it does look intimidating. Almost next door to the metro station.

Very small room without furniture or even some hooks to hang your clothes. Cheap for Paris, but spend little more and get normal hotel room. Location is not good especially at night. Metro station is very close.

Reception staff weren't the friendliest of people - male at desk was very sarcastic after we went to leave with our door key, which we didn't know wasn't allowed. A simple explanation was all that was needed, not sarcasm and rudeness. The room was honestly awful and looked nothing like the images on their website. The management photos are obviously...

The room was supposed to be non-smoking, yet the strong smell of cigarettes didn't go away after a night with an open window. When we complained about it, we were informed that they were fully booked, so we can't change a room. The shower cabin was tiny ( a larger person wouldn't fit), instead of duvet cover there was another...

Stayed here for 2 nights in January 2016. Hotel close to Gare Du Nord - approx 10 mins walk to the rear of the station. Area can seem a little bit dodgy as there's quite a lot of homeless people who gather there, however despite this we never experienced any trouble. The hotel itself - nice reception area and the...

Superb value for money for its location. We were off Eurostar and back at the Terminus Nord bar in about twenty minutes. Staff were helpful and polite. The suggestion, in another review, that this is a "thug stronghold" is ridiculous. There is a park opposite the hotel and people hang around in it. If you are the kind of person...

Awful location. It was very dangerous at nightsas its more like a thug stronghold . no internet connection in ANY place of the hotel. You need to pay something like 10euros /day for internet. Rooms are not like the ones at photos. Awful stuff. No lights at night as everything was broken. Sink was stuck. There are much better options for...

It was a great value to stay in this hotel, would do in the future! The room was very small, but clean, and perfect to spend the night there. The bathroom was tiny as well. The receptionist man was very helpful, explaining us which lines to use on the Metro to get to the Eiffel Tower. The Metro is very...

After arriving here at Paris, went to the hotel, but have to wait 'till after 3 pm to get the room ready, it's n good location, close to bus station, train station, in a walking distance of many things, a 1 mile from Mouling Rouge, either by train or walking, commercial zone, but quiet street at night, you will rest,...

“Try to get a room on top of the building.... But tell the receptionist to tell the clean stuff not to knock the door to early in the morning, she is always grumpy and talking alone, throwing stuff everywhere and making noice all around the place, not a Good thing if you are on her way of cleaning, the bad thing, bathroom to small you can't even move while shower, if you want to do number 2... Need to accommodate to find the right position.... Never seen in life a so small shower and elevator... My cualification...? 2 over all...”

“Ask for quitter room or second floor”
Jean_LuxBordeaux, 27 May 2014 | Read review
“Rooms that overlook rue Pajol can be noisy - so if you are a light sleeper, recommend you ask for a quiet room at the back of the hotel. My room could have done with block out blinds as the curtain did not quite cover the window, but I coped. The walls are not particularly thick so again, if you are a light sleeper do carry ear plugs - once figuring all this out on the first night of my stay - I slept reasonably well. Disappointed that there was no WIFI available and was advised of the nearest Internet café. Appreciated the TV in the room which had a facility to enable certain programs to be translated. Best thing is the hotels near location to Gare du Nord and L'est and La Chapelle Metro. The room was clean and dry and basically met my needs for my stay as I was only really a place to stay in Paris each night for the duration of my stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, happy for what I got based on what I paid for. VC”
