My hotel room was like staying in a sauna. The radiator was turned on and no way to turn it off. Apparently it had the knob removed and there was no way for me to turn it down. When I went downstairs to inform the frontdesk I was told that they could not do anything. The FD employee was willing...

Within five minutes walk of Gare de Lyon. Receptionist very friendly. Speaks French and English at least whilst being German. Carrefour supermarket just up the road. Receptionist lent us a corkscrew. The hotel is a little shabby inside and out but actually does all that is necessary. We were on fourth floor. There is a tiny lift but I was...

The hotel is very close to Gare De Lyon, making it ideal for a stay involving a rail transfer. Bastille is at a walk-able distance from the hotel. Since it's on the main street, which is quite active and well lit, it's quite easy to find it and also it's safe as well. There are also a number of eating...

We got stuck in Paris because of one of the numerous strikes. We looked for hotels near Gare de Lyon and this place came up. It looks unassuming from the outside, but has a nice lounge in the lobby, a very friendly and helpful staff, and a lift that is large enough for one person and a large piece of...

It was a pleasant stay. We chose Corail Hotel because our friends live nearby. It's not a 'all frills hotel', as in it's not somewhere I would choose for a honeymoon. Rather it's a small, quite, comfortable and clean hotel. Reminded me a bit of 'grandma's house'. But I liked it and the price was reasonable. The location is brilliant,...

We stay at Hotel Corail every year in June, and it is always full. Why do we keep coming back? 1) The price is super affordable. No other hotel around has a better value, I have checked them all. 2) It is centrally located, walking distance to restaurants, Gare de Lyon, and right on subway line #1, walking distance to...
