Great hotel for families, with main bedroom and seperate sitting room for kids with foldout bed. Kitchenette useful. Close to all amenities, including a child friendly park the kids can walk to. Great parisienne decor and wonderfully attentive staff. Our second stay at Henry IV and we'll be back.

This is a really quaint hotel in the Latin Quarter - a sensational part of Paris to stay in. Honestly, we really can't fault this place. It's in a quiet yet central location, within decent walking distance of both Maubert and Cardinal Lemoine metros, and near to heaps of good cafes in the Latin Quarter. The room was really quite...

This is a perfect hotel/apartment located in the heart of St Germaine. The one bedroom apartment is ideal for a family who need a small (but serviceable) kitchen to warm up bottles or food for a toddler or baby. The rooms are spacious by Paris standards and it has a bath (which is rare by Paris standards). As expected the...

This is a beautiful and traditional property with flower boxes outside the large windows that lead to small wrought iron balconies where you can enjoy the charm of Paris. The neighborhood is quiet, yet very Parisian with specialty stores and coffee shops. We found a grocery store, fruit stand, liquor store and patisserie right behind the hotel. The hotel has...

This is a wonderful, small (13-room) and nicely furnished three-star hotel on a quiet deadend street near the Metro Maubert-Mutualite stop in the Latin Quarter. We spent five nights in an apartment accompanied by a granddaughter. The apartment consisted of two BR, an ample bathroom and a small kitchen. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, the rooms supplied with...

My husband, I and two children (11 and 17) stayed in the Hotel Henri for two nights. What a gem this hotel is in Paris. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as the children are very fussy eaters. We bought goodies from a supermarket within walking distance of the hotel and...

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Paris. So perfect that I am hesitant to write a review, as it might become too popular. Without a doubt we will be staying here on any future visit to Paris. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The large floor to ceiling windows in both the bedroom and bathroom meant we...

This little gem gave us a family of 4 with a tweener and a teenager a feeling of living in Paris. Quaint, friendly, and comfortable. Typical Parisian experience.

The hotel is wonderfully located for neighborhood dining and for access to tourist attractions. We and our daughter's family of five enjoyed attentive and personal service of attractive and well informed staff who spoke excellent English. They also were most patient with our attempts at communication in French. The room amenities were fine and the size of the hotel (only...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
