The good Ibis standards can be easily seen in this hotel. Wifi works very well and the room (614) was spacious and clean. I just suggest you take a look at the elevator - it produces a strange sound, as if the ropes were about to collapse!.

We like this hotel as it is very well positioned for most of the places we like to go to in Paris. You can walk to the hotel from Gare du Nord and it is easy to walk to Montmartre, Les Halles, the Opera and the Seine. The breakfast here is of a very high quality and the staff are...

We booked the place last minute for 5 nights during Jun'16. Although the located seemed great with lots of restaurants/pubs etc nearby. I believe we booked last minute hence the high tariff. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was decent compared to most European hotels. Proximity to 2 metro station made this place great.

First of all, as usual the room is standard for almost all Ibis ! I like the location and restaurant is easy to find along the road. Things to improve: 1) Complementary water 2) write pad and pen 3) Safety box 4) Breakfast to serve hot meal!

Initially, they put us in a room in the old building of the hotel which was too small and definitely didn't live up to a 3-star hotel. There was literally no room for two people going around in the room, the decoration was sad, there was no natural light...We didn't exactly inspect the room in detail because we felt they...

This hotel is close to metro stations, main boulevards and walking distance attractions. It is a good value hotel and decent service. I walked to many places from there and/or took the metro to go around the city.

The hotel is located somewhere halfway between Gare du Nord and Opera which is quite convenient, with of course many metro stations around. I had a quiet room under the roof with shower bathroom, and as everywhere in Paris do not expect much space. Friendly and efficient check-in. Breakfast gives a nice choice of viennoiseries, limited hot dishes and fruit...

We were here for a week. I really liked the hotel happy to go back and I will return! The room was very nice clean look in our window but the streets are well insulated. The breakfast is perfect for me but I think my dad would be varied according delicious! The cards also broke down the door several times...

Busy location. Boulangerie and supermarkets nearby. Small and old hotel. Elevator is slow. Can use a bidet in the toilet. Can use a hairdryer upgrade. Locked hotel doors at night. One-man team during the night shift. Room key card kept messing up and had to be reprogrammed almost everyday. Frances and the gentleman with salt and pepper colored hair were...

I stayed in this hotel in August. I arrived late at night but the receptionist welcomed us very warmly. The room isn't very big but when you're in paris you don't see your room a lot :) The breakfast was ok. 2 thumbs up for the older lady running the breakfast area ! She was so nice, looking after the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
