When I booked the hotel I was a little worried from the reviews. They were from a long time ago and the photos looked a little tired. I'd booked via a website and the price was amazingly cheap for a 3 star in central Paris, you will find cheaper in the outer districts (not always in the nicest of surroundings,...

I stayed for 1 night and it was good value for money. Recently refurbished and decent. The location is the thing that sold it to me, 1 mins from Republique Square and the tube station with easy access to Gare du Nord and Eurostar.

If you have an unlimited supply of money, stay here! I stayed here as a nanny and really enjoyed myself. If not, treat yourself to breakfast or tea time in the parlor/sitting room right by the entrance. The rooms have classic furniture but updated bathrooms. Very clean. The staff is very helpful and speak English easily. Truly a beautiful hotel...

it was only good in the context of location. Other then that I didn't have the best experience with the staff in general and the bed itself was okay. The view was good if you had a balcony. I am traveling on a budget in Paris so it was good for that. Also as a graduate student not having free...

It was the cheapest hotel (Hibiscus) in this area with great location. Republique metro connects with 5? metro lines, some buses. If in need, you can go and return by foot from the city centre. We had a first day trip by foot to Louvre and back. When we arrived we were allocated to nearby Bristol hotel, didn't have breakfast....

Location was excellent, somehow most things I wanted seemed to be within half an hour walk, and a major Metro hub just around the corner. The hotel itself and the rooms... rather small and gloomy. There's no wi-fi, no bar, the breakfast is only one croissant and one little bread with butter and jam, no other choices and no extras....

The bathroom was very dirty, room rating was 20 pointa from 100. Hotel byl spinavy a koupelna silene spinava. Pokoj byl zanedbany. Priste bych si vybral urcite jiny hotel. Jedina dobra vec byla lokalita.

This is the most horrible hotel I ever stayed at. The beds/mattresses were literally wrecked, dirty & almost falling apart and the bed sheets didn't even completely cover the mattresses. The bathroom was okay, but hair and gum was found in the shower. The breakfast was apparently served in the basement, we however never found any breakfast there no matter what...

The Hotel is in a very convenient and busy location. This is its first problem. The streets around it are very much 24 hour and the noise reflects this. This is possibly the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The noise inside the hotel is almost as bad as the noise outside. The ancient and creaky lift, the paper...

Good location, however , very basic ,budget accommodation..maybe good for 1 night stay for young people who want a party neighborhood.I booked this on Hotwire not knowing hotel name until after booking and it was listed as a 3 star..by no means it is..more like 1-2. Rooms are dated , carpets dirty, beds uncomfortable..I'm a world traveler and have stayed...
