I booked a superior room for 3 nights which I prepaid. The room was small but modern, well decorated and very clean. The bathroom was also compact but newly renovated with toiletries and all conveniences. It did not have an overhead shower. We were allowed into the room early at 11.30am which was before normal check in. Check in/Check out...

I just returned from Paris where I stayed at the Hotel Paris Rivoli.I was absolutely impressed with the service from the minute I checked in till the time I checked out 16 days later . My room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The daily breakfast was excellent. The reservation process handled directly with the hotel was...

We stayed here for 4 nights and found our room very quiet, considering we were staying in a busy part of town. Heard no traffic and slept like a log. the room may be small and the lift was tiny, but hey this is Europe, not Australia. The staff were fabulous and very helpful especially the night shift worker. Very...

A real discovery: Having been living myself for many years in Paris and having stayed in various hotels that were all of the kind « tourists just come once so why offer them good service for their money »…. I finally found a hotel I would book again straight away. Excellent location, very warm welcome, very clean, extremely friendly staff,...

This hotel was in a great location two blocks from metro. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little small and mattresses need to be replaced. Had to sleep backwards on the bed to not hurt are backs. If they replaced the mattresses this would be a good little hotel overall. Air conditioning worked great and hotel...

For starters, hotels in Paris, especially those less than ***, are far below what the typical American would expect at even an economy chain. Every hotel I have stayed in Paris including this one always have the reek of smoke, small, 20 years or older furniture, tiny twin beds and no sense of style (in Paris of all places). The...

I booked this hotel based on the reviews I read on Trip Advisor, and I have to say that they were pretty accurate. I was completely satisfied with the hotel. In terms of value, cleanliness, comfort, and location, I don't think there is another hotel in central Paris that can match it. I will definitely stay here the next time...

Stayed here for 4 nights with my teenage daughter and we were not disappointed. Hotel is very close to St. Paul Metro and located directly across the street from the hotel is a bus stop from which you can take bus 69 (dir. Champ de Mars) to travel to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and Invalides. To return to...

The main reasons for staying here are simple: great part of town, reasonable rates. The icing on the cake though - especially for English-speaking guests - is if it's Patrice's shift on reception. No stone unturned. No problem that cannot be solved!

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
