Our room in the back was very quiet, fair sized by Paris standards, it included a large bath with tub and shower, fridge, small desk, and comfortable double bed. Midway between Hotel de Ville and St Paul Metro stops, directly on several bus lines, near a couple of markets and lots of eateries, the location was great. Breakfast for 7E...

Stayed here for 6 nites after 2 in Tours. Great place to come on a rainy afternoon, check in easy, then able to go out and find most everything open in the neighborhood! Comfortable bed, bathroom with requested tub, would have preferred street view but grew fond of our interior "courtyard" Fridge which is not an overpriced minibar, did not do...

I didn't expect much else to be honest. Very average basic hotel. I found the reception staff friendly. My room was light and clean with aircon. Had a balcony which was nice although i don't think many rooms do have one. 2 single beds with old bedding but was clean. Bathroom was fine, clean and basic. Location was the best...

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed. There was mold in the bathroom, the furniture was very old and over the desk was a glass broken and when i told them they didn't even care to remove it or replace it.The receptionist was very rude, the elevator so small and it was very difficult to put a stroller in it and...

I've stayed at this hotel on two occasions and am sure to return again soon. The staff are more than helpful and super breakfast included in price. Great value for money considering the location and facilities. Its a basic hotel but clean and comfortable. I have lived in Paris before and am aware of the standards in this city which...

This is my 3rd summer at Paris Rivoli and I still love the service. When I travel to Paris I stay here because they make me feel at home. Great stay with great staff, clean rooms, spotless baths, air conditioning that works, nice breakfast, and incredible location in the Marais. Close to 2 metro stops. Starbucks and Monop (small Monoprix)...

Right next to a metro, so moving around was a breeze. Located in Marais area, which I love. Rooms are very basic. There was AC but it was a chilly summer, so we had no use for it. Toilet is quite big but it always gets wet. The window panel on the bathtub was poorly constructed. Every morning, there's always...

We picked this hotel because of its location and weren't disappointed. There are lots of great bakeries and bars/restaurants in the area. The room was definitely small, but because we didn't spend much time there, it worked out fine. The gentleman at the front desk was standoffish at first, but then charming after we had to ask him to re-set...

The reviews were correct--perfect location, clean, large bathroom and friendly people. I would absolutely stay there again. If you want to be in walking distances of many sights, restaurants and buzzing life, this is a great value. The room itself was simple but clean and I did find the bathroom surprisingly roomy which was nice. A/C in the summer as...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
