Was unsure what to expect, as some good reviews, some bad. Plumped for this hotel as needed to catch first Eurostar train from Gare du Nord and the location was perfect, and was on a budget.

No, not even a kettle. The tea making facilities are in reception. There are only plastic cups, so we bought mugs to use. We also bought our own breakfast from a local supermarket - we were told by other guests that the hotel breakfast was sparse and not worth the ten euros they paid for it. I took my own coffee and tea too, and we bought a carton of milk. The coffee and tea in reception is of very poor quality.
