Charming little place. Every staff member I came in contact with was extremely helpful. Was able to store my luggage there after check out time until it was time for my flight. Breakfast was a bit over priced, but the orange juice was delicious. Only complaint I have is the wifi is weak.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Decorated nicely and the staff are very helpful. The Latin Quarter is a great place to stay as its not as expensive/busy as some of the other areas and you can easily walk or metro to where you'd like to visit. This hotel really is great value, can't fault it. Loved it!

great hotel in the perfect location. several metro stations close by. it's a walkable distance from a number of tourists' destinations. it is very clean, bed was comfortable, good linen and towels, room small but comfortable enough for 2 people. we did not upgrade. we did not use their breakfast - there is an absolutely divine patisserie almost next door...

My daughter and I spent seven days at the Hotel des Sevres and were very happy. The staff was wonderful. We arrived early in Paris after an overseas flight and they had a room ready for us so we could rest. The room was large for Paris standards and clean and overlooked a quiet courtyard. The hotel which was right...

We spent 6 nights at the Hotel des Sevres and could not have been happier. The staff at the front desk are uniformly kind, warm, and extremely helpful. They printed out train tickets, had advice on local bistros and even a few spots in Lyon, and booked dinner reservations for us. They spoke excellent English but also kindly encouraged my...

Although this hotel has seen better days, it met our needs perfectly- one night stay before our flight out the next morning. Very friendly front desk staff and charming lobby area. The location was perfect for us-safe neighborhood and easy walking distance to several metro stations/lines.

My husband and I stayed there in March for two nights and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodative (we checked in late). The rooms are not very spacious but nice and cozy. We really appreciated the quietness of the room. The breakfast was excellent also. The location of the hotel is ideal to...

It was a short stay for 2 nights only but a memorable one. The hotel is located in the heart of the city with lots of shopping places, good restaurants and subway options nearby. The hotel is ideal for value and comfort. Will definitely be back on my next business trip in July.

I stayed here from March 18th-22nd and thought it was in a great location. It is located near 3 metro stations, Sevres Babylon being the closest (in my opinion). Although I did take metro, I enjoyed just walking most of the time. Walked to Notre Dame in like 20 minutes, also another 20 minutes from Paris Catacombs. It was easy...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
