My company booked this hotel as it was within walking distance of a meeting I had at the Galeries Lafayette. Of course I'd rather stay at the George V or the Bristol, but the pictures they showed looked somewhat decent and it WAS convenient! So I arrived in the evening from Ch de Gaulle and the night staff was, of...

We were there 4 nights, 3 were weekdays where one non working elevator could have been repaired, but wasn't....hotel was full so going up or down was a long frustrating wait. Shower was either really hot or cold, room keys were unreliable and so getting into room (because of elevator problem) was a difficult, situation. On a positive note, breakfast...

Dear onesweetgem, Many thanks for sharing your honest feedback on TripAdvisor. I am sorry to learn that what could otherwise have been an enjoyable experience has been marred by technical issues. Indeed, as other guests have also commented, we realize that having only one functioning elevator can be a nuisance, especially in the morning when there is quite a lot...

This is a beautiful hotel, so it's really sad that the overall offering doesn't match the architecture. I have known and stayed here on and off for nearly 20 years but, frustrated at the decline, stopped doing so a couple of years ago. I came back this week with hope, but there are still multiple niggles... - poor wifi in...

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Millennium. Fantastic location, you can walk to a n incredible number of top visited sites in Paris. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us many restaurant suggestions which we loved. The breakfast was great, we ate there everyday. Very clean and quiet! A great place to stay in Paris!

Recently stayed there with friends and had a lovely time. The rooms were spacious, unlike many other hotels I've stayed in in Paris, the location was fab and the service was very good. I had a very good night's sleep and the bathroom was lovely and clean and tidy. The only slight downside was that the rooms were a little...

I recently stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. Thankfully I was busy with meetings and didn't spend much time in the hotel or my room. Let me start by saying some good things. It has a great location and is close to many things. If you are so inclined it is a 20 minute walk from Gare...

My sister and I stayed here on our first visit to Paris, after a Viking River cruise on the Rhine. We love vintage = and this beautiful hotel was perfect for us! Rooms are a bit old fashioned and the whole hotel has this austere imagine that brings you back to the beginning of the 20th century. Overall OK and position makes it a good choice for either business or leisure. Breakfast is good, nothing is excellent but everything is decent and in line with price for central Paris

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
