Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!!! They had no air conditioning and did not let you know that when you checked in. And the week we stayed in Paris, there were several warm days. They advertised a bath/shower. The shower part consisted of a hand held spray connection! Got the entire floor wet every time I bathed. Staff was... More

I visited this hotel during a business trip. I find it a bit expensive for the quality. The room was clean but it had holes in the walls. The furniture is very old. There was no TV in the room. The bathroom is big (no shower, just a bath) compared to other hotels. It's an old hotel that needs a... More

I stayed one night in this hotel. First surprise are the stairs leading from the entrance to the reception and no one to help with luggage. Elevator is very narrow but we were able to get into it as we were only 2. Room at the frist floor was too small, doors from bathroom touching the bed when they were... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. Our room was small, but clean. Really liked the french balcony. Bed was comfy and we got clean towels daily. Only minus side was in the bathroom, there was a bath and shower combo but no shower curtain which means there was water everywhere after a shower. Hotel also has a lift which was... More

Situated very central near the Garnier Opera and within walking distance from everything you will see from the hop-on hop-off bus, it is anexcellent deal. People are very friendly and helpful, air conditioning is ok Rooms are small but very clean.

The room was too small. It was like apartment than the hotel. The room wall was covered with some fibers which was unusual . It the bed was too close to the washroom and you could open the wash room door complete. It was so hard to find the hotel from the street. It was close to the ventilation system... More

Can't fault this hotel too much. Location was good (near three metro stations), breakfast included in price was nice - croissants, pastries, cereal, juice, water and hot drinks - beds were comfy, wifi was good and the bathroom was clean and modern. There was also a lift which is handy for anyone who doesn't want to lug their luggage up... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
