We've stayed at this hotel twice now, and each time was great. We had some issues with the cleaning woman in the breakfast area the second time though. She would allow nearly all of the tables to pile up with dishes and would chat with her friends instead of doing her job. We got on of the last tables and...

Firstly when we arrived we were told our room was up the rickety stairs which are pictured just in the background behind reception. All other rooms in the hotel were seperate, it felt quite strange having to walk right out into reception and the dining area everytime we left our room, we felt a bit of a spectacle. The wooden...

However, this time I stayed at the Prima Lepic Hotel and what a great experience. The room were as noted in other reviews small, but they were very clean! The frontdesk staff...

The hotel was very nice charming hotel located in Montmartre. Very convienient to 2 Metros stations (Abbesses and Blanche) which made it very easy to get around the city. The room was of above avereage size for european hotels in a large city and both the room and the bathroom were very clean. Also the room recieved the attention of...

We had 2 really pretty rooms 115 & 215--Amelie Poulain Superieur--front facing with windows/balcony overlooking street--but not noisy! May be noisy in high season as lively street/market Did not have 10 euro b'fast in hotel as nearby area is full of cafes, restaurants and bars--we loved rue des Abbesses, & also ate at le Basilic--very near -as delayed first night, but...

Small hotel in the lovely and picturesque Montmartre. The best thing about the hotel was the location - this is why you came to Paris! Lovely, winding streets make you feel like you are in old Paris. Close to cheese/wine/meat/seafood/flower shops, galleries, boutiques, etc make this area magical. I recommend 'La Mascotte' seafood restaurant. Sit at the bar and Karim...

We booked through MYPARIS.COM, everything ran smoothly. The area the hotel is located is in our opinio, the best i Paris, it is situated on a typical cobbled market street with numerous florists, patisseries and cafes. The area feels very sfae contrary to reviews. We didnt feel uneasy even in the early hours of the morning. It is covenient for...

My teenage daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over half term. We were a little nervous about what it would be like but found it was very clean, with a very good bathroom, not noisy and with loads of space. We booked a twin room but ended up with a double room plus a twin next...

I stayed at the Hotel Prima Lepic for a weekend in Oct 2007. I had low expectations because single rooms in Europe tend to be the size of a closet! but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the room was small. But the decor was quite charming, there was enough room to open my suitcase, there was a flat screen TV...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
