Good location, but for the money, there were too many little problems that added up to a big headache. Broken luggage rack, broken hair dryer, broken sink, wrong bill when I checked out, wrong information about getting a taxi to the airport, housekeeping took my personal pillow, vacuuming outside my door in the early morning hours...lots of little things drove...

This hotel made my solo trip to Paris an absolute dream! I booked a single standard through a package with Air France and asked ahead if I could please get a room with a street view and balcony. Room 42 is amazing! Double bed, safe, mini fridge, nice size closet, heat & A/C. View of the tops of the trees...

My trip to Paris was July 2010 so this review is way over due! The Mayfair was an excellent choice in so many ways. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected but it was comfortable and appropriate since our time was spent getting to know the city. The one weird thing was that we...

We booked a 'suite' and were given a large room and small antechamber on the top floor which was badly in need of renovation. The carpet was stained in many places; the walls were stained throughout; the plastic flowers added nothing to the decor, and the room was dark. When we asked to be moved to a renovated room it...

Everyone at the hotel were nice and pleasant. Check -in was quick, luggage was delivered in to the room right away. 10 euro for Internet per day. We had breakfast buffet, which was OK - bread, butter, cheese, salami, fruits, yogurt, eggs. Room was big and the bathroom was clean. The location is perfect - major attractions are within walking...

We stayed in the family room and it was refreshingly large for a room in Paris. The hotel staff was very welcoming and the stay was very relaxing. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the Louvre and many other sites! Highly recommended!

We stayed here the last week of February for our honeymoon and had a superior room. The hotel is close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere including across the siene to the notre dame, st germaine area, etc. Paris is like NYC in that places seem far aren't because there's so much to see along the way. The...

The hotel is so charming. The location couldn't be better. Close to the Louvre, the Seine, the trains, view of the Eiffel tower. Great breakfasts! Large bathrooms. Just so enjoyable!

Hotel: I got back from Paris yesterday and I stayed at the Mayfair with my husband for our first anniversary. Upon arriving we checked into a standard room (may have been called superior, I cant remember) The room was very clean and well presented and had everything you would expect. (safe, huge wardrobe, TV etc) and the bathroom was huge!...

This is a Great Hotel to use as a base of operations for 3-4 days to see the city of Paris. The location can't be beat - two blocks from the Place de la Concorde and a major metro interchange. Unless you are planning to spend huge amounts of time in your room or at the hotel's spa, don't waste...
