It's difficult finding good value accommodation in Paris (when I lived there all my visitors crammed into my apartment ;), but this little hotel was a good find. A few stations from Gare de l'Est (perfect for us arriving by TGV from Strasbourg) and few minutes walk to the hotel. Then only a few stops on the same line to...

I have previously worked in Paris but my family have never experienced it. So prior to going barging we decided to spend a week in Paris. The requirements were a reasonably priced hotel with a great location. This hotel certainly lived up to the requirement. Its great location made walking around easy and the rooms whilst not overly spacious were...

Not a bad hotel for people on a weekend break with friends. About 15 minute walk from Gard du Nord train station. Staff friendly enough although early check in was not an option. Breakfast provided and seemed to be good.

We recently spent a museum marathon 3 days in Paris with my dad and brother. We choose this establishment instead of an airbnb. We were absolutely satisfied with the service, cleanliness, breakfast (big coffe machine with many morning drink types, fresh bakery products both sweet and salty, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, veggies, jams, butter, fruit drinks) luggage storage. The rooms...

Recently stayed on a weekend city break with a friend. Customer service is non-existent. It was quite hard to get a good morning from the staff working there. Breakfast literally consisted of pain au chocolate, croissants and 1 bowl of sliced fruit. Tea & Coffee only available from a machine which was very temperamental. Room smelled weird, bathroom didn't drain...

We stayed here for 3 nights during a weekend in Paris. It's right near Cadet metro station which is close to major interchanges and there are plenty of options for food nearby (go past the metro down the narrow street on the other side of the main street for great breakfast options). Front desk staff were friendly and spoke English....

Stayed Feb 17 to 19, 2016 Location: 7, rue de Mayran, 9th arr., 75009, Paris, France. The hotel is located approximately two blocks from the Cadet metro station so it was really accessible. What I loved about the hotel is that it is near to many shops and restaurants if you need a quick fix or need to buy something....

My father and I went on an extended weekend excursion to Paris in July 2015 on the Eurostar from London. As such, the location of this hotel was a plus - a short bus ride from Gare du Nord where the Eurostar "lands". The locality is ever so slightly shabby but not bad by any means, and most importantly feels...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
