I was delighted with my stay here. This small hotel has a a lot of nice touches about it. An email to welcome you before you arrive and one to welcome you the day after. Provided an adaptor plug as standard on request for free and an extensive reasonably priced minibar in each room. The rooms are all individually named...

Hello, Sir I am so glad you enjoyed your recent stay with us and I am particularly pleased that you felt great about staying with Van Gogh. You may perhaps, on your next visit, decide to stay with Cocteau, name given to one of our "Superior" rooms, on the fifth floor, overlooking the corner of the boulevards Raspail and du...

We stayed there over 3 Nights. Rooms are small and crowded, not so clean as it should be. The Bath wasn't clean, there was only one toilet paper roll. The bed sheets weren't changed on a daily basis. Breakfast was nice. The stuff in the reception are very nice and helpful.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing on Trip Advisor about our hotel which proved to be a disappointement for you, much to our regret. We think that it is very necessary for us to inform you that, since 2014, the date when you stayed with us, our hotel has been fully renovated and is now hopefully more in line with...

This was our first trip to Paris and enjoyed this little hotel. It is clean, the rooms are well furnished and are standard European size (so small) but very comfortable and has an excellent view of Paris from some of the rooms. The front desk was very helpful. It's located in an excellent area with shops, restaurants and a laundromat...

During our 40th wedding anniversary trip to Paris (not our first time to travel there), we were fortunate to have booked a week at the hotel Raspail Montparnasse. This is a relatively small hotel right on the corner of Boulevard Raspail and Montparnasse (a large thoroughfare). It is half a block from on metro stop and only a couple of...

We were warmly greeted by the reception staff on our arrival, who also gave us restaurant suggestions for dinner. The rooms are small but clean & have an ensuite. The hotel is well located in Paris, in a vibrant area, lots of restaurants & walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine River & Notre Dame. There is a view of...

Dear Guest, I wish to personally thank you for the very positive comment you published on Trip Advisor after you stayed with us. I am glad you appreciate our reception team and the way they deal with our guests I have nothing much to add except to say that we hope that we'll have the pleasure to welcoming you again...

Well priced for Paris in a very convenient location for Gare Montparnasse. Rooms are the normal compact size of Paris but the rooms were furnished this century - in fact quite recently. Only complaint was the hair dryer - one of those boxes that have the tube blowing air. When I asked a staff member whether they had real hair...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for granting us with an overall very positive comment in spite of your rather unpleasant experience with a member of our staff. Yes, indeed, we do have "real" hairdryer which we lend to guests who, like you (and me) do, find the blowing dryer in our bathrooms not so convenient. It would appear that...

The first time we have visited. Lovely place, independent hotel with very friendly and professional staff. When we visited the breakfast room was being completely renovated and was closed - their solution - to give people breakfast in their room - marvellous. A lot of extra work for the staff but always arrived promptly and courteously. We were on the...

Dear Guest, Your very nice comments about our hotel and our staff brought some sun to my heart in a rather cloudy Paris. It looks like the renovation of our cafeteria will be completed by the end of the week and I am rather pleased with the result, a picture of which will soon be posted on our website and...

Raspail is a small hotel with personal service. It needed an upgrading, and was under refurbishment when we stayed there. 2 minutes to the Metro. Very nice people in the reception and good roomservice. Very clean. Small roms, quiet. Lot of good restaurants close by. 5 minutes to shoppingcenter Lafayette, C &A etc.

I'm regularly going to this hotel for business trips and weekends also. Staff is very friendly and flexible. Location 15mn of the Montparnasse station by metro, which is important for me, living west of France :-). Rooms are more spacious than usual in Paris, a little bit "vintage/old school" but find I them comfortable. Bathroom and beds are always very...

Thank you so much for your very positive comments about our hotel. I am very glad to hear that you enjoy our rooms and their slightly "vintage" character. We have just started a renovation which will, hopefully, reinforce the Art Deco atmosphere, already very present in our reception hall. I hope that you will approve of our new decorative choices....

Friendly & helpful team who also speak very good English. Important if you'd like help on the metro, eateries, tourist spots etc. As in most of Europe the rooms are small & bathrooms even smaller. Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
