I have stayed at the Raspail Hotel every time I am in Paris - why....because it is simply sensational! The guest comes first and foremost - firstly, after booking you are sent a short survey to complete, asking you to detail anything you may be interested in from theatre to fine food to tourism. The hotel then assists you with... More

I stayed here for a business trip and found the hotel and room quite quaint but suitable for a short stay and I wasn't around much during the day and evening. There is a view of the Eiffel Tower in a distance but this was the only thing that I saw that made me realise I was in Paris. If... More

This hotel was chosen based on the positive reviews from trip advisor members and it lived up to those reviews. Our room was clean, roomy enough for us and the reception staff very very helpful. Our advice if you choose this hotel is to purchase a multi day metro ticket for getting around to all the must see attractions in... More

A good deal for business travellers. Nice rooms, nice people, good location. Stayed there couple of times, every time is a good experience. Comparing to prices of hotels loke this one in Paris, it's not that expensive also.

Beautiful hotel in Art Deco style located in the heart of Montparnasse in Paris. Would highly recommend their generous breakfast that can be served in your room. The staff is also very helpful, and there are some great restaurants located in the vicinity.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your very positive comments about our hotel. I am particularly touched by the title of your comment and its relation to the Art Deco period. We began staying at the Raspail 13 years ago because we had friends whose apartment at the time was directly across the street. And it had the advantages of close proximity to two Metro stations and the Gare Montparnasse, which allowed us to unload luggage and take the car immediately to the rental car returns at the station. But even... More

I was delighted with my stay here. This small hotel has a a lot of nice touches about it. An email to welcome you before you arrive and one to welcome you the day after. Provided an adaptor plug as standard on request for free and an extensive reasonably priced minibar in each room. The rooms are all individually named... More

We stayed there over 3 Nights. Rooms are small and crowded, not so clean as it should be. The Bath wasn't clean, there was only one toilet paper roll. The bed sheets weren't changed on a daily basis. Breakfast was nice. The stuff in the reception are very nice and helpful.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing on Trip Advisor about our hotel which proved to be a disappointement for you, much to our regret. This was our first trip to Paris and enjoyed this little hotel. Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
