Stayed here for one night and had a lovely time. The location is perfect for a short walk from Gare du Nord and great links on the Metro. Room was v comfortable and perfect to crash out in the comfy bed after walking all around the city.

Fantastic location and hotel, shame about the homeless man cedric outside who shouts at passers by all night. after the first night we gave him 5 euros in exchange for him shutting up and it seemed to do the trick

Good location, only 10 mins walk to La Fayette. The room is very clear which is very important to me, but it's a bit small and no fridge and kettle. The staff also is very friendly and speaks English.

It was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help even if it's just with information or giving u details about something , calling u a taxi. They are really nice ! The hotel has a great location ( just a bit far from the main city attractions, but it's not too bad) . The...

Nice hotel but room was very small - barely enough space to walk around bed and the en-suite was tiny. Breakfast was very busy and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat. Croissants were brought out and you had to rush to grab one before they were finished. If you were not quick enough you had...

We had to find a cheap hotel then we selected this one but the rooms were awful, too little to move and the area was so dangerous. There were homelesses around. You have to walk as a group of people and always look around.

This hotel was a hidden gem. Off the main road but very close to amenities. The rooms are snug, but still plenty of room to move around. The staff were polite and welcoming and their spoken English was brilliant. Had to pay city tax when we checked out which was minimal at €9.70 in total for 2 people. We already...

The hotel is medium-sized, professionally run, and clean. Room size was fine--I purposely asked for a double room this time, so I had more space than the terrible singles you get in Paris (and London). The desk service was polite and helpful. The buffet was small but actually good qualty. So overall, good. The bathroom was especially nice. It's located...

We enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable beds and great location. Good value for money too. It was about a 20 min walk to Angelina's - a must visit if you are in Paris. The only thing that didnt help was the fact that the room heating system did not want to obey any commands to keep the room warm. The...

When this hotel really has going for it is its location. Cité Bergère is very close the the metro but should you be feeling energetic you can actually walk to the Louvre in 20 minutes or so. Good place for non-fancy restaurants used by people who live nearby as well as by tourists. The hotel is in a wonderful quiet...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
