Very nice hotel in "real" Paris, very easy to find and convenient to travel from CDG by train. Everything is exactly as on photos. Plenty o cafes/bars around. Perfect for traveling to main tourist attractions as well.

A very cozy hotel near Notre Dame and the Jardin du Luxemburg Perfect for a city break. The view from the top floors is breathtaking, overlooking the Pantheon. In the surroundings of the hotel there are lots of cafés and restaurants and there is a Carrefour Express right in front of the hotel

Cons: Very small room. Tiny bed - not even a queen size - ouch. Teeny tiny bathroom; no space for toiletries in there whatsoever. O.K., maybe a tooth brush. Noisy room overlooking the busy St Germaine boulevard. Did I mention very small room? Pros: Price. We paid only about $150 U.S., and the location is perfect. Amazing restaurants nearby, easy...

I have stayed at the Abbatial on several occasions. I usually book the larger room , which is slightly more spacious than most simple hotel rooms in Paris. I book without the petit déjeuner, as all around the hotel are the nicest bistros, pâtissiers and bakeries-- much more fun to sit outside and eat your croissant. I love this hotel...

The hotel is a few minutes walk from Notre Dame Cathedral. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The room, like many in Europe, was small but efficiently laid out so that it felt larger than it was. The bathroom was larger than many and well equipped. Although the hotel is on a major street we had no difficulty with noise. The...

The most lasting impression I have of our stay at the Abbatial Saint Germain is the 'privileged' view I had of the dome of the Pantheon from my room. I would leave the curtains open so I could look at it from my bed at night (I am an incurable romantic). It's a classic and grandiose building cum mausoleum with...

We spend five nights in Paris and stayed at the Abbatial. Great locations! Close to cafes and shops. The staff was very helpful and friend. They spoke English which helped a lot. The room are a bit on the smaller size which is to be expected in Paris. Breakfast was included every morning with a wide variety of choices. Great...

I stayed for two weeks in the Hotel Abbatial and had a wonderful visit. The room (although small) was very comfortable, clean and entirely sufficient for my needs. There was air conditioning which I only used a couple times as the breezes were pleasant at night. The small refrigerator was adequate for keeping a small amount of snack/picnic food. The...

My wife and I spent a week in Paris and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Abbatial Saint Germain. Our room was comfortable and clean and bigger that we expected for Paris. The optional breakfasts were great value. The hotel is less than 1km from Notre Dame Cathedral and close to the excellent Latin Quarter restaurant and cafe precinct.

Having stayed at Hotel Abbatial twice before I was very disappointed to find we had been allocated a room which faced over the central courtyard and bin area. The previous rooms I'd stayed in looked towards the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. I asked if we could move but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. I soon realised we'd actually...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
