When in Paris, I always stay at the Hotel de Fleurie. The location is excellent; the staff is friendly and helpful; the hotel is clean and pretty; and the breakfast is so-o good! For me, breakfast at the hotel is a good buy at 13 euros. Nowhere else in Paris could I get 2 pots of cafe au lait, jellies,...

Very attractive 3* hotel in a great location. Spacious, good quality furnished rooms. Pleasant public rooms but on the small side. Just a block away from parking and the metro. Good restaurants and bars in the area. Great shopping area too.

The hotel is centrally placed, this means its about 5-10 minutes to everything walking distance and if its far away there's a metro and bus stop on the corner so no problem. The hotel itself is very good considering it was 100 pounds a night and the location was excellent, rooms were nice and large, and breakfast was great (3...

We (two couples with small children of 1 year and less) recently spent 2 nights and don't have any negative comments about the hotel. It is in a lovely location and close to everything. Great recommendations were made by the staff and everyone was just lovely. The bedding provided for the little ones was more than expected and great quality....

Spent 5 days at this lovely hotel in the heart of the Left Bank. Perfect location for getting around Paris. Wonderful cafes and restaurants all around the area, and near a lot of museums. The room was small but clean with a nice modern bathroom. The staff was terrific -- very helpful to book reservations and taxis, everyone spoke English....

This was the third time my wife and I have stayed at the Hotel de Fleurie. I can't say that the third time was the charm. On this past visit to the hotel (3 nights) we both experienced multiple insect bites during our nights sleep. The strange part was that my wife and I never discussed this with each other...

The location is great, not far from Luxembourg garden, 10-15 min walk to Seine, Notre-Dame, 2 metro stations and RER. Receptionists are very helpful and friendly with very good English. Our room on the top floor (6th) and was really tiny, mansard-type, low-ceiling, absolutely inconvenient, especially wardrobe in a niche without any light. A view from the window: a roof...

As a group of 5 couples we were thrilled with Hotel de Fleurie, location & friendly staff & spent 5 nights. As it is a 3 star hotel we did not have huge expectations but were delighted to find a lovely little place to rest our weary heads after all the walking & exploring. Very handy to Metro a short...

We spent three nights at Hotel de Fleurie before returning to the US after a two-week vacation. The hotel is very tastefully deorated and up-to-date. You have to expect that rooms in these older hotel buildings are just small. Nonetheless, the room and bath were very tasteful and efficiently organized to maximize the space available. The staff was outstanding, very...

Spent one week in Paris in the middle of July. We had spent several stays before at another hotel and wanted to change this time. Checked the options on Tripadvisor and decided on hotel de Fleurie. Mainly due to it´s location and the reasonable pricing. The close location to the Boulevard St-Germain gives you plenty of shops and restaurants and...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
