We visited Paris on 23rd August 2016. We stayed at the 7th Arrondissement at the Hotel de L' Empereur over looking Les Invalides & Musee de Le Armee. It was a great hotel, with a wonderful warm hostess. There was a Laverie (Laundrette) at the top of our street for those who like to do their own laundry & close...

This Hotel was recommended by relatives from Canada. It's in a great location, was well priced when booking early. We have 2 children and trying to find a hotel that doesn't put them on a sofa bed in our room or have to pay full price for 2 rooms and be worried about them opening the door to anyone. This...

Dear MHRW, thank you very much for this nice review. It is true that our family rooms are very great for 4 people with such a nice view of the Invalides! We hope to welcome you again sometimes. Warmest regards. Catherine

Stay was good. Nice view, close to Eiffel tower (around 10mins walk), clean room but the lady on the reception was very rude. She replied very rudely to a very normal question. Everything else was good!

Had a lovely stay here, complete with a stunning view of Les Invalides from our bed. It was a medium sized room with comfortable queen bed and soft linens, adequate storage space and in-room safe, walk-in shower with rainhead and handheld nozzles, plus heated towel rack. The toilet is in a separate room across the living space from the shower...

This hotel is rated *** but I believe it to **** The staff were easy to contact via email and gave us directions on how to get to hotel via metro. Location was excellent for a late night stroll to Eiffel Tower and Bistro. Our room was renovated and super clean. The bed and linen was 10/10. The bathroom and...

We enjoyed our stay in this great located hotel. We loved the room with the amazing view on les invalides. Bathroom was clean and nice shower. The hallway was noisy though. We woke up a few times during the night. Wifi is OK.

Hotel de l'Empereur was a pleasant surprise. It was in a very quiet area in the 7th arrondissement (some might say too quiet) and about a 3 minute walk to the nearest metro stop. We had read on previous reviews that the rooms were tiny - the room WAS small but not to the point that it was annoying. And...

It felt a little off the beaten path as the neighborhood was quiet. But in reality it was walking distance to many attractions and close to a useful Metro location. Hotel is a boutique hotel and looked a little old when I first walked in but the room was clean and well appointed. Would stay here again.

This hotel exceeded our expectations for its cleanliness, comfortable bed, good location, I.e. proximity to the metro system, tourist attractions, groceries and restaurants. The hotel is pretty small but that makes the staff very personal. By the way, you can help yourself to the brewed coffee as though you are at home! That adds to the charm of the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel after a nightmare queue through passport control on a Friday night. Really good spot however a strong stench of stale cigarette smoke as we walked in. The room was lovely. Probably the largest we have had in Paris. Great size bed, dressing table area, huge bathroom with rainfall shower and towel rail. All decorated really...
