The room was as mentioned quite small but to be expected in Paris. The hotel is located in a great location near the Notre dame area and has lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. One thing that was slightly annoying is that we were given a room with two single beds as the hotel had our reservation as...

Nice comfortable hotel in a good location in the Latin Quarter. 10 mins walk from Notre Dame, lots of eating places close by. Metro less than 5 mins walk away. Nice view over a park. Rooms fairly small but standard for European city.

The staff is lovely, the location is GREAT, there is a delicious boulangerie at the end of the street as well as a supermarket, the room is clean, the view nice, the only thing missing for me was a kettle in the room for a tea in the morning/evening. But I will be back nevertheless!

I stayed there for 4 nights in November, well located, near to metro, bus stand and a famous street rue mouffetard where one can find a restaurant according to his preference. also good for tourists as it well situated not far from the touristic places. nice ambience, excellent staff, and a healthy atmosphere. I definitely will recommend this place to...

Beds are smaller then singles. The place is dated, does not include those amazing Parisian breakfasts, staff is unhelpful. The only really positive thing is the lower cost and if you want to be in the latin quarter.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay when traveling with family in Paris. I was traveling with my daughter and her best friend last summer and they gave us a spacious room with 3 beds. It's located near two Metro stops and is within walking distance of the Latin quarter. The staff was very helpful and there are shops,...

Stayed 2 nights in this budget hotel that is well located on the left bank to explore paris. When searching you will realise budget accommodation is hard to find and although still more then i would prefer to pay, it offered a comfortable stay in a good location. The room was comfortable, has a safe, free wifi, decent bathroom, small...

I called ahead asking for a view of the Arènes, and was welcomed by Salah, the lovely hotel manager, with the news that I had a surprise waiting. My sister was with me just for one night, so we had been given a large corner room, plus a fantastic view, with three beds! The Arènes is perfect for a picnic...

It's a small hotel but it's very very clean and has all you need during the stay. The room is clean and relatively new I would say but the size of the Double room is abit small and doesnt allow you to open up your 29" luggage, it will have to be standing all the time if you want walking...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
