I stayed in this hotel for over two weeks on a business trip and it has made my stay in Paris most comfortable and with a true Parisian feeling. I have been coming to Paris for over a decade and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. The location is very convenient, you can walk almost everywhere, Notre...

What a delightful small boutique hotel, friendly helpful staff and comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast coffee was to die for!! Sited away from the busy Blvd St Germain, the local access to cafes, bolongerie etc was good. It well and truly met its three star rating

This hotel is very well situated and not overly expensive in Paris terms. Friendly staff, very clean. Good breakfast without being outstanding. I would suggest booking a superior room as French hotel rooms are notoriously small. Recommended

Our room was charming, and the staff was extraordinarily helpful (and spoke English). Each morning when we walked out the door, we were awed by the majestic Pantheon! The location is very convenient to the attractions; a short walk to Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens. A delicious breakfast is available as room service or downstairs in a quaint stone cellar....

The location is majestic, right at the foot of the Pantheon, one of the grand buildings of Paris. The room was comfortable and charming with beautiful timbered ceilings and well appointed bathroom. A beautiful stone breakfast room on the lower level. Soon after departure from the hotel, I remembered leaving some items in the room refrigerator. I called from the...

I have stayed at the hotel three times, once with each of my children for their 10th birthday. It is ideally situated right by the Pantheon, a walk from Notre Dame and close to the RER line for both Gare du Nord and the airport. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, breakfast is good and the rooms lovely, and...

My husband booked this hotel after seeing the trip advisor ratings and pictures. Location was great for exploring the Latin Quarter with some great cafes and restaurants close by. We had great views of the Pantheon from our room but it was disappointing that the junior suite we stayed in was very small (I know Paris hotel rooms are notoriously...

Dear funkypsb Indeed, there are two Junior Suites in the Hotel des Grands Hommes : - Room N°1, which is the largest of the hotel (35 sqm) with a king californian bed, on the ground floor - Room N°12, which is smaller (av. 25 sqm), but offer you a nicer view of the Pantheon with 2 high french windows opening...

Lovely, Lovely Hotel right across from the Pantheon. Each of the front office staff are so nice, sincere, and helpful. So is the wonderful lady in the downstairs breakfast room. So nice. The rooms are so terrific. This is my hotel of choice on my visits.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016 with my husband. We booked a superior room with a balcony, which was fantastic and gave us a direct view of the pantheon. Bed was super comfy, staff were pleasant, only downside was the shower, too small for us and the water pressure wasn't good. Easy access to the metro, an easy...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
