Little hotel in the Saint Sulpice area, very friendly staff, nice property, close to a parking garage, reasonable continental breakfast. Internet worked fine and the hotel has a small elevator, overall excellent choice. We would go back to this place definitely

I'm a suspicious reviewer because I've been staying at de Pas de Calais for more than a decade. Staff is extremely accommodating, rooms are ultra clean, and the atmosphere... it feels like a vacation home in Paris. No comments about the location, as every visitor may have heard about the magical feel of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The room had Little space for luggage and no hook in the bathroom to hang clothes and etc. Good location, silent room, comfortable beds, good wi-fi and friendly staff. Would definately stay again! Its near metro stations, supermarket, stores and restaurants.

This is a very small, charming hotel owned and ran by the family who had own it for a very long time. It is located in one of the best areas of Paris close to the metro, taxis, shops, restaurants and food stores.

This clean and comfortable little hotel in a great location has accommodated me three times in the past year. Each time I have felt at home, always enjoying their good breakfast and personal hospitality. They even accommodated my early arrival, serving me a good coffee and enabling me to check in at 10:00 a.m.

My wife and I started our recent trip to France at the Pas de Calais hotel. We spent three nights there. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and that granted us a much appreciated VIP treatment, including a half-bottle of champaign. We arrived early AM, exhausted after our sleepless, 12-hour transatlantic flight, but were warmly welcomed and kindly greeted with... More

Very good location and convenient walking or metro to a number the wonderful Paris attractions. This is a very good hotel with friendly, helpful professional staff. If you want to eat at some of the best Paris restaurants remember to do your research and book the restuarant well in advance to avoid disappointment. Having said that there are always options... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
