Every room has a magnificent view of the Seine, service is very accommodating and pleasant and location is fabulous. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Quai Voltaire. The rooms are a little small but the rate and location and views alone make it...More
I think what you are mainly paying for in this hotel is the superb location and amazing view from the rooms. I'm glad we stayed here for that reason. The staff are also friendly and the rooms are a comfortable size, but a bit outdated...More
This hotel is in the 7th A overlooking the Seine across from the Louvre. This puts it within relatively easy walking distance to many key sites (and it's fun watching the action on the Seine). The hotel is far from luxurious (and the lobby is...More
A great location for walking and it's close to Metro stops. The Quai-Voltaire is a busy road, but our room, which overlooked it, was still quiet at night and had a beautiful view of the lights of the Louvre directly across the Seine. We were...More
Hotel du Quai Voltaire is right across the street from the Louvre, the Seine river and within walking distance to the Musee d'Orsay. Location! We walked along the river looking at book seller stalls and the boats on the water and kept going walking to...More

France > Ile-de-France > Paris > Saint-Germain-des-Prés
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

I stayed in a double room on the 4th Floor with a river view and it had a balcony which accommodated two chairs and I used a wastebasket for a side table. From what I saw, all the rooms on the 4th Floor have balconies and I would imagine that a triple room would have a balcony if it's on the 4th floor. The river-view rooms are THE BEST.
