I can not write about this hotel in particular because I did not get to stay here. When we arrived on Saturday to start our Valentines Weekend mini-break we were sadly surprised that the hotel had over-booked and we were being moved to another hotel they claimed was in the same catagory. I hope that this hotel is not the...

The location is good, very close to subway. Hotel room is small, bathroom is clean and good. Service is terrible, I have to say, the bad service they offered is worse than no service. The receptionists are the worst I have ever met during my over ten years' travelling experiences among the different levels of hotels in Europe, South America...

1. Location was good as it was near the Metro which connected directly to the CDG airport. Very near to the Notre Dam and streets full of multinational restaurants 2. Room was adequately small but it is Paris, we were somehow liked it. 3. Suggested a local restaurant nearby La Coupe Chou and it was slightly expensive but worth for...

My partner and I stayed here on a previous trip to Paris. We loved this hotel and plan to stay there when we return. The rooms are reasonably sized and very comfortable. We were there for a romantic adventure and very happy with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location....

What's to complain about ? We have been traveling yearly to Paris for the past 20 years. The La Tour Notre Dame is in an excellent position for exploring the city. The rooms are not large, but very clean. The bath was modern, and again very clean. The breakfast was pleasant and easy. The bed was comfortable and the staff...

I booked this hotel for one night on our return journey from Provence and it met up with somewhat expectations of it. It is a typical Paris 3* hotel, ok for one night, but not much longer. The room was very small(my wife called it "bijou") and the bath would have suitable for our baby granddaughter, but hardly for an...

We were there in August, admit it is not the best month to be in Paris, but the hotel advertised air conditioning. The air is a joke. Put two people in one of the tiny rooms and they overwhelm the puny amout of cool air. We did wheedle a fan out ot a desk clerk and it made a real...

Location is the main reason we picket this hotel. Just far enough from all the action of St Michel but great to all attractions in the area and the transit to-from Garde Nord (RER B) and metro. Typical very small room. Had elevator which helped. I stayed at Bestwestern down the block on Rue du Sommerard called Best Western Le...

The hotel has a very good location close to the junction Blvd Saint Michel and Blvd Saint Germain and also close to the RER station where you can take a direct train to Charles de Gaulle airport. Our room was small and clean. The breakfast was OK.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
