Really nice little hotel perfectly located in Saint-Germain. Close to everything., bistros, restaurants, bars and Saint Germain shopping. Helpful and polite staff. We were very fortunate to be upgraded to a suite and a lovely suite it was. Views of Notre Dame AND the Eiffel Tower. We didn't even finish asking if we could leave our bags whilst we had... More

I was lucky in that it was a bright sunny autumn day when I strolled from Notre dame cathedral to Les Tuileries along left bank. It's mainly books but books of everything from pop artists to history to collectibles. You name it and you'll find it here. there are posters and maps, trinkets, antiques and souvenirs. Each booth is individually... More

In the heart of the Latin Quarter, this hotel is a gem. It's location is ideal, just steps from the Odeon Metro station and a variety of restaurants. Our room was spectacular! It was amazing! We were given an upgrade to the suite on the 6th floor that had spectacular views on both sides of the hotel, Notre Dame and... More

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Left Bank Saint Germain. The staff was very helpful answering our questions. It is a short walk to the Seine, Boulevard Saint-Germain as well as many cafes and restaurants. We took advantage of the hotel breakfast (at a small cost). It was delicious. Our room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. We... More

When planning a trip to Paris, as with any wonderful city, locating yourself in a convenient hotel saves time and effort when you have lots of wish lists and a limited amount of time. Don't we all. This hotel puts you in walking distance of places like Notre Dame and the Sainte Germaine district, which has great restaurants, upscale shopping... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable. We were in the Apartment on the top floor with the best views looking over the rooftops of old Paris! Absolutely stunning views of the Notre Dame Cathedral and Eiffel Tower in this very large Apartment room. Located in the best part of St. Germain next to the Latin Quarter too. Metro is right next... Wonderful Hotel, and staff. Great location. Super rooms, with extra size comfy beds...a real treat after a day of walking. Awesome Breakfast, with a killer view from the lounge up stairs. Knowledgeable staff, willing to help you figure out dinner, or lunch from the many choices around the hotel. Shopping abounds within a few blocks. Not to mention the Opera,... More

We booked a triple room which was very beautiful decorated and not that small. No view from our room whatsoever. Overall a clean and stylish hotel with friendly staff. The area has very nice brasserie's and the hotel is very close to Notre Dame. A bit expensive but most of the hotels in Paris are expensive. Would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at the Hotel Left Bank from October 6-10, 2016. It was absolutely great. The location is perfect, as you are only about 100 feet away from the Blvd. Saint Germain (the main drag). The Odeon metro stop is right there as well. It's in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Our room (#505) looked out over... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
