Detailed Reviews
Our family of six stayed in three rooms at this hotel for two nights while we did a brief visit of Paris o the return from our holiday in Tuscany. I'm glad we chose somewhere so central - all three of our rooms had views of the top of the Eiffel Tower which the kids loved.
The rooms were clean, well serviced, everything worked and the hotel was well set up for Covid. Having just come from the Mercure hotel in Geneva, where the breakfast buffet had been outstanding, we were expecting something similar here. Unfortunately it wasn't quite as good. There was no hot option (eggs etc) but I think this was because of Covid. I would have expected Mercure to have a standardised approach across all their hotels however.
The location is really ideal - 10 minutes' walk to the Eiffel Tower and 35 minutes to the Louvre and there are plenty of family restaurants in the immediate area.
I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located in a working class neighborhood within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. It is a small hotel, clean and quiet. The service at the front desk was very helpful and professional. The restaurant is practically non existent, but there are many option right outside the hotel doors. They offer a buffet breakfast a little overpriced for what was being offered and stop promptly at 10:00AM. Housekeeping was a little bumpy the first couple of days, but fine after that. The rooms are a little small but work for its intended purpose.

Absolutely no Platinum member recognition. Very impersonal checkin, pathetic welcome gift, even not delivered to the room, no welcome note. Standard room we had on first night very basic and small. On second day I asked for an upgrade. Receptionist didn't notice my Platinum level and tried to ask for extra charge. Finally upgrade granted, just one level up. Privillage room much better and larger.
It seems that in 4 star hotel proper bar and restaurant should be available. Unfortunately there is only kind of bar service performed by receptionist like in 2 star Ibis hotels. When I wanted to have a welcome drink I waited long and nobody came to service. When I went to reception ladies were having fun and laughs at the back. I asked for service. It took several minutes before someone came, even though there were no clients at the reception. I asked for white wine. I got in unacceptable room temperature.
Breakfast choice limited, but tasty. Even though hotel is advertised and sold as air conditioned it was switched off and it was hot in the room.
Hotel didn't e-mail an invoice after left hotel. Two days later I asked for issuing it as per my request in the reservation. It was issued to different data that I provided in the reservation.

My partner and I stayed her for the Maison & Objet show (1/16-1/20/20). It was the worst hotel experience we’ve had. The pillows were like cardboard (both the pillow cases and inserts), and we both ended up having a reaction to either the laundry detergent they use or the fills.
Secondly, when we went to order room service, they didn’t have over 50% of what they list on the menu. The few items we were able to order showed up in glass containers that had been heated in a microwave (worse than airplane food).
Thirdly, we asked the receptionist to call us a taxi one morning and she stared blankly ahead and never did it.
The entire staff was barely friendly.
Finally, they entered our room twice without knocking first.
We will never stay at this hotel again, which is a shame as we visit Paris every year.

Due to the cancellation for the prepaid booked stay in this hotel because of restrictions imposed by Corona for unnecessary travel (travel warning from the German Federal Foreign Office - curfew in France and thus internment in the hotel).
I asked for refund of may prepayment (Cancellation under normal conditions does not foresee a refund which is o.k. for me).
They had two options to compensate the prepayment:
- Refund of prepayment
- Voucher for a future booking exclusively in your hotel
Which option did they choose? Unfortunately not this one that meets the needs of the customer which is also affected by the Corona virus and needs every cent. They decide on a solution that is only advantageous for them.
A future stay in Paris is not foreseeable for me and therefore a redemption of the voucher is rather unlikely and my money is lost.
Very bad!!!

This is our 5th time we stayed at Mercure Grenelle Hotel because of its location. Its across Dupleix Metro Line no.6 which is 2 stops away from Eiffel tower. The neighborhood is full of restaurants serving French, Italian, Japanese, & Chinese food. .There are 2 wine shops besides the hotel, Rotisserie chicken, & Boulangerie which opens 7 AM. There is also a Market every Wed. & Sun. across the hotel. The Hotel room is of standard in size, furnishings are newly refurbished, comfy bed, strong free wifi, great shower, coffee maker with coffee, tea and water. However this time when we checked-in, the lift was out of order which caused great inconvenience but a front desk lady named "Manon" who is very accommodating went out of her way to changed our room at the rear portion of the hotel with lift which definitely solved the problem. The room she gave us was a comfortable executive room with a mini bar full of complimentary drinks. During this time, I also discover that the hotel will assist in booking variety of tours like going to St. Mont Michel, Giverny Tour, etc..for Travelers arriving Charles de Gaulle its around 1hr Train/Metro/Taxi ride towards the Hotel and if you arrived at Orly Airport, Its a 30mins taxi ride with a fixed taxi fare of eur35.00. Our experienced was always happy and will stay again at this hotel.

Writing this review on our last day at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Paris ..
Before we booked this hotel, we researched quite a lot, not many photos online, and not a lot of “useful” information, but we took the chance because it seemed to be within close proximity to the Eiffel Tower.
Here’s our experience in detail:
Room
We booked the Privilege Room, with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Although the corridors on our floor are outdated, the room is quite modern with a stunning view of the tower. The bathroom is also nicely designed with a shower and amazing amenities and high quality soaps.
The room comes with a Nespresso machine, and coffee capsules are replenished daily, so is the complimentary water.
Location
This is not our first time in Paris but its the best area we have ever stayed in. The Eiffel Tower and the Seine River can be reached within a 5-7 minute walk, we also found our location convenient when it came to “meeting points” for several tours booked.
My husband and I love the European cafe culture and we found quite a few nice cafes around us. Lots of supermarkets too, pharmacies .. etc! Makes it easy to grab whatever you need even when its late at night.
We walked to a few locations such as The Louvre, and found the walk quite fun and not far at all. We also Uber’d to a few locations but the cost of Uber was low since the area is convenient and central.
Staff
Amazing! Friendly, informative! Always smiling and offering help not just to us but to all visitors.
All in all, amazing location, warm staff, clean modern rooms .. Wonderful pick! Highly recommended ⭐️

The room is very spacious and correct. Large, comfortable bed with soft sheets. The modern bathroom in the room has a good shower and pressure to take eternal showers after walking all day or working. Strategic location in the center of Paris and in front of the RER station to be able to navigate comfortably around Paris and its surroundings. Excellent service, in several languages (Spanish, English, French) which made us feel comfortable from the first moment we arrived at the hotel. Without a doubt a point of return when I find myself again in the city of light.

Had a short, two night stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Citadines down the street but this time it was full. The location for us is perfect as we move a lot around the 15th arrondissement, and just across the Metro, which was perfect and could get to any place in Paris in half an hour or less.
We initially had a room that was at the same level of a courtyard, we immediately asked to be moved to a higher room and the staff made a great effort to find us another room. The rooms are not very large, which is normal in Paris. The decor was very modern and the rooms seemed to be very refreshed. The corridors, on the other hand, were old and dated. It was a big contrast between the nicely decorated lobby and the corridors on each floor.
We did not try the breakfast as it was overpriced, but there were plenty of options around the hotel, including several great boulangeries.
We definitely recommend this hotel if looking for a good price/location/quality.

We stayed here for a week for NYE and it was brilliant. The location was great, just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and a bus stop for the bus tours. There's loads actually on the street of the hotel itself, plenty of cafes, restaurants and bakeries, as well as having a metro station right across the street. The hotel itself is clean and modern. We were so pleased with our room, especially the fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. The only downside we had was that the only meal they offer in their restaurant is breakfast, which we never had because we preferred to pop into the local bakeries. They do other room service but it's pretty limited. This wouldn't stop us from staying here again though. Lovely stay.

We flew into Orly Airport and took a cab.
Dupleix is an elevated station of the Paris Métro serving line 6 along Boulevard de Grenelle. Its just across the road of the hotel. You come down the stairs and cross the road to enter the hotel. We find the nearby presence of this station very helpful and convenient for our stay.
There is a hair dryer in the room. You can also ask the reception to provide you things like an iron and iron board.
Sorry no incidentals..
Early, around 6/30-7. But when we were there breakfast was quite bad. Avoidable.
