We've stayed three nights there and enjoyed a lot.Small room upper floor with folding bed was really nice and quiet.Everything available in the room for cooking and good internet connection. We appreciated free coffee and water . But the best is location - 50m from underground train and 300m from train station Montparnasse - lot of shopping and restaurants

it is difficult to review this hotel. It is well located, the personnel are friendly. The room was clean and the bed was excellent. However, it is stark. The furniture is okay but not very comfortable. There are absolutely no pictures on the walls which are just white. There was only one shirt hanger and a few pants hangers in...

As a serviced residence, we always consider the comfort of our residents of utmost importance. The design and layout of our refurbished apartments were largely due to the result of the feedback we previously received from our residents I noticed that we failed to meet your expectations. Since we are constantly looking at ways to improve our services, following your...

The front desk people put the jewels on this crown. Definitely recommend this place. Great facilities with laundry and always a great coffee. Very well equipped with lots if kitchen utensils. The bed provided a very comfortable sleep with extra pillows.

We were in a 1 bedroom suite, which was big enough for our family of 4. This hotel may not have all of the bells and whistles and perhaps the smallest elevator known to man but we loved it. This is the perfect hotel if you are staying in paris more than a few days. We stayed here for the...

the hotel is quite basic and the rooms are small but the location is outstanding -- close to the gare montparnasse with its many metro and bus lines. it take less than 5 minutes to walk to the stop for the air france buses to CDG. the staff is most courteous and helpful. the weather was hot and it was...

The Citadines in Avenue du Maine is nearby Galeries Lafayette Montparnasse, Post Office, Cafe, Restaurants, Bank and Institute Alliance Francaise. So I will recommend it to people if they learn French in that school. The rooms are clean and I can change towels everyday. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in this area. I have been staying in Citadines...

The location was great, near gare montparnasse main metro station, in a clean area and with a high degree of life at any time in the district. We used the noctilien night bus at 3 am to go to the cdg airport and even at that time we felt secured. The stodio was so clean and gave you a sense...

I stayed here for about a week during a recent business trip. I have stayed in the Montparnasse area many times during prior visits to Paris, and I have a pretty good idea about what I want. The Citadines is close to Montparnasse station, and you can be on the train platform 5 minutes after leaving the hotel. If you...

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this location. What made this visit way better than average was the truly outstanding staff. We arrived before the check in time totally exhausted. They did their best to get us into our room as soon as possible, which was greatly appreciated. During the entire week all staff members we encountered were friendly, helpful...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nowadays an important Parisian business area, the 14th district is not short on charm. Citadines Maine Montparnasse Paris is set in the heart of this atypical location where former 20th century artists' studios rub shoulders with major shopping centres and skyscrapers that exemplify contemporary architecture. But the 1920s are really not far off. The brasseries and artists' cafés of Montparnasse, so reminiscent of that lovely era, are still to be found and perpetuate that oh-so-special atmosphere. Your serviced apartments hotel is exceptionally accessible, not only for travelling within Paris, with the Gaîté metro station just a stone's throw away, but also for heading off to explore other regions of France, with the Gare Montparnasse railway station in immediate proximity. Whether you are just passing through or staying for several weeks, your Apart Hotel will be an ideal pied-à-terre. Our reception staff are on hand at all hours, day and night. A private car park for average-sized vehicles (charges apply) is also available. During the Roaring Twenties, Montparnasse was the artistic heart of Paris. To understand the district's golden age, head to the Cité des Arts museum, far from the hustle and bustle of the street. But you'll still find artists there exhibiting every Sunday on the Boulevard Edgar-Quinet during the creative arts market. And don't miss the Cartier Foundation and its contemporary art collections. In the evening, take your pick from a choice of performances in the many theatres or take in a film at the local cinemas. Apart'hotel Citadines Maine Montparnasse Paris offers both traditional rooms and fully equipped serviced apartments, from studios for two people to family apartments for four occupants. The latter include a fitted kitchen, satellite TV, complementary WiFi, and views of either the inner patio or the Avenue du Maine. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, enjoy a wide range of à la carte services - including meal delivery, daily housekeeping and dry cleaning - to ensure your comfort and independence. ... more   less
