The location of this hotel was very good, it was only a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping area and if you wanted you could walk to all the sites. There are several metros nearby and Gare de Nord station is just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. The room was very nice and the bed was...

Yes .. of course in Paris hotels are expected to be small - Opera Cadet is definately one of them - But the biggest plus of this hotel is it's location. close to 2 metro stations that take you everywhere! Room's decoration is quite old fashioned and if you have too many luggage you are crowded but you do not...

This is my first trip to Paris and it took me quite a few time to do the hotel research. I chose this hotel based on the comments on tripadvisor and was a little bit concerned on those negative feedbacks wishing not to happen on me. The stay turns to be better than I expected! The location of this hotel...

Handy for getting around Paris, in a lively & interesting little street with a Metro station, this was a great base. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby which was good after a long day sightseeing when we couldn't face travelling much further for dinner. The staff were very friendly & helpful; we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and the...

We had previously stayed at the Opera Cadet two years previously and loved it... the location, the rooms, the staff, the hotel made my first trip to Paris a memorable one! We returned to Paris this past December to spend Christmas in the magical City of Lights. Of course, we booked our reservation at the Opera Cadet for the trip!...

Booked hotel based on good price and reviews given. We were not disappointed at all and actually very impressed with the staff, service, cleanliness, breakfast and location. Exactly the hotel we wanted for a weekend break. We would highly recommend the Opera Cadet to others and would book here again if back in Paris.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for couple of nights recently. The room size is a little small to the American standards, but sufficient for the European one. Overall, the hotel is clean, professional staff and the breakfast is excellent. The restaurant staff were accommodating and friendly, while the reception staff could have been a little more welcoming...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
