The hostel was very clean and it was nice to have a bathroom inside our room of 4 people. It was also decently located, near a metro station. However, I wish there was a common area to meet others. And the beds squeaked like CRAZY. It was impossible to move while sleeping without making quite a lot of noise. We...

This hostel was ok. The location was pretty great because it was right near the metro and a busy street. You could hear parties going till 4am so if you want to sleep a wink, it's not going to happen. The wi-fi was fine and I met some cool people, but the beds were squeaky and the 4 person bedroom,...

I stayed here with a friend in August 2013. We had a shared room with 4 other people and the room was very small, however the beds are high enough that a suitcase or backpack can fit underneath no problem. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were comfortable. If you are of a large stature however you will have...

The hostel was located near to a busy street will shop and restaurant. The blanche metro station was located in a not very secure location with people trying to force you to paid and watch the 'sex show' during night time. Room of the hostel was small and the staircase to the room was small either. Front desk staff was...

Stayed in a dorm room with all guys and me so kind of odd. Bathroom was en suite and very nice though. Breakfast included, simple. Block from metro and moulin rouge. Lively neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants, although not as fun as Maria's or les Halles.

I stayed at the hostel with two friends for 2 nights. We had beds in a 4 dorm room (which had 5 beds in but only 1 other person). The room was small (probably because of the extra bed) but the ensuite bathroom was fantastic though! Best I've seen in a hostel -up to hotel standard! Very clean and modern...

Late review, we stayed here last summer for 3 nights. Enjoyed our stay so much and was exactly what you need from a hostel. Breakfast included, comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms. Views to the Eiffel Tower from the room and 5 minutes walking to the Sacre Coeur. Close to bars and restaurants too. Amazing friendly staff we will never forget...

We stayed here for 6 nights and I think that was too long - you will be lucky to get a good nights sleep in this place as it's rather small with walls made of paper. You can hear everyone walking up and down the stairs and you can hear other conversations rather clearly. We stayed in a private room...

Very close to Blanche Metro station and mins away from Moulin Rougue. But beware you will be dragging your luggage uphills and walk for at least 10mins from Blanche station. There were 3 Asian restaurant nearby - 2 Chinese & 1 Vietnamese (you will definitely see it when you are walking towards the hostel). Also, a supermarket that sells all...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
