I lived at the Plug Inn in Monmartre in Paris from April 27 - 30 and it was a good experience. I had a room with 3 roommates but i had just 2 at the time. The room was small but comfortable. It was cleaned everyday during which time it is a block out for all travellers. The front desk...

Small, noisy, very simple breakfast. First hostel I stayed that didn't have some kind of laundry service. Like the bare minimum even though so expensive. Location is fine. Probably would find a different hostel next time.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Plug-Inn! The rooms are quite small, but that can be expected from most hostels/hotels in Europe. The staircase is also very narrow, but we were traveling only with backpacks so it wasn't too difficult. I think this is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at! All parts of the room were clean,...

It's very well located, just only three blocks from the "Moulin Rouge" and the metro station, sorrounded by a lot of restaurants, cafes and pubs; also very close to the "Sacre-Coeur" one of the most beautiful sightings in Paris. I have to reemark the helpful and frendly of the staff, the guy from the reception "Julio" was very kind and...

The rooms are really small. This is a great place for travelers that don't expect to spend much time in a room. It was just enough for 2, reasonably priced. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear every door open and close and every word spoken. Overall, it wasn't bad. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast...

I've been to some hostels and so far Plug-Inn hostel was the best one. :D Amazing rooms and really good breakfast. Very good location, just a few minutes from the metro station. (: I would certainly recommend it

Great location, just walking distance from Blanche and Abbesses metro station. Cafes and restaurants nearby and also walking distance from Sacre-Couer. We stayed in a 4 bedroom private room. Room was small but clean. The only downside was the bunk beds....very noise.

It was my first time staying at a hostel. Private room was nice, clean, quiet and big enough for two persons. Breakfast was simple but more than enough. Breakfast area is a bit hot but if you're lucky you can sit in the veranda, where it's cooler. I'll be coming back here for sure!

This place was very good, the location was amazing and the staff excellent. I'd recommend this place to anyway wanting to stay in Paris, with awesome restaurants nearby, great coffee and the Sacre Coeur which has mind blowing views. My only downfall from all of it, being over 6 foot I couldn't fit in the toilet nor shower.

Thank Jye C

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
