After spending 4 nights in a tiny room in London, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of large 3rd floor room at this hotel. Also a large bathroom. We had no views apart from the street but that didn't worry us in the slightest ab out all day. The room was very clean, the Wifi access was excellent, we...

The service in this hotel is excellent, and everybody speaks very good english. Most of the workers in the reception had even one more language than French and English. It's locaion is just a few minutes walk away from Moulin Rouge and the Metro, and about 20 minutes walk away from Sacre Coeur. We lived in 6th floor and had...

Ok so the location is great. But room service "we are changing the menu so we don't have anything much"..not very helpful. I am in room 254 and it has 3 single beds jammed into the room, 1 with the curtains half across it. The worst is the sound of what I can only assume is the plumbing or heating...

The location is great: in Monmartre and right next to a Metro stop. Busy area but our room was quiet. Lovely view...a few rooms to the right and we would have been able to see the Sacre Coeur. The bed was fantastic. Huge and comfortable. Spotless room and hotel in general. My only complaint would be the wi-fi. It was...

This is a nice hotel with a very good location! The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was ok, except for the shower-curtain.....! I do not like shower-curtains! They always look dirty, and cling to your body... Otherwise, the rooms were nice! The beds were excellent! At check-in we were told at what time breakfast was...

We arrived here just after mid day. The location is great for everything. Just around the corner from the Moulin Rouge, and a short walk to the Sacre Coeur. We was given a rucksack on arrival which contained water, snacks and a map of the area which I thought was a nice touch. Rooms are clean, good sized with a...

This is a top quality hotel. The location is very busy: close to the Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge, metro and many restaurants. We got a free upgrade to a room on the top floor. It was spotless, had great views and was very comfortable. Excellent. If you have fine tastes this is a hotel for you.

Decent size rooms with good storage for clothes, very tidy, bed was OK - maybe a bit too soft but not uncomfortable, bed sheets of good quality and in excellent condition. The shower was also good, powerful enough and with hot water immediately available. Negative point: the (central?) aircon system was noisy and turning down the room ventilation didn't stop...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
