Stayed in March of 2017. Really great location. Rooms are a little small, but clean and have modern feel. Little mini fridge and pot for heating water. Nice breakfast room. The patio bar wasn't open for the season yet, but looked nice. There is so much to see in Paris that we did'nt spend much time in our rooms; i...

It's a very clean hotel. Very nice and attractive room. I love my room and gladly would come back. Though some don't speak English, they don't bother to ask you if they can assist you in some ways especially the housekeeper.

Stayed here 4 nights, check in was friendly with the staff speaking good English. The location is perfect! Having no real idea what to expect on my first visit to Paris, this hotel made it easy with a great location, easy access to restaurants, shops and site seeing. The front of the hotel is also very accessible for pickups for...

After a ten mile hike around the airport (Charles de Gaulle), eventually found the exit and asked where the metro station was situated. Should have cost us 12 Euros to get to hotel but, unfortunately, the metro was closed down for the day (still unsure why) so, 50 Euros later and a scary taxi ride!!! arrived at hotel. First impression...

Mercure Montmarte has excelent localization close to Metro stations L2 and L13. The rooms are clean, good breafast in the morning and kind people to welcome us, except for the lady in the front desk for othe checkout which apparently has no patience to deal with people/guests....... Check out: Mar-8th morning.

We stayed here specifically to be close for out night out at Moulan Rouge. It was so close and meant we could just stroll to our show and back again. The room was nice, basic but clean. We arrived via the train from London and was only about 10 min in a taxi. Got totally ripped in the taxi €30!...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
