My husband and I stayed at this boutique hotel in June. We had one of the smaller rooms, not a suite. Nonetheless, it was clean and comfortable and we were rarely in it. Good bathroom and good sized bed. Lift was small but good for taking heavy bags upstairs. A squeeze with two people but stairs are fine anyway. All...

Stayed for four days in a lovely suite with a comfortable pullout for my teen daughter, a convenience kitchenette, and a large bathroom. The hotel is very conveniently located. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. And breakfast is great. Stay here.

We spent 5 nights in a beautifully appointed room. It was our second visit to this hotel - we stayed in a suite last time but weren't disappointed with the room plenty of space for our large suitcases, excellent free wifi, very nice breakfast and tremendous staff who spoke very good English and couldn't do enough to help us. Highly...

My husband and I stayed here for our 3-night stay in Paris. The staff was always very helpful and extremely cordial. Our room was nicely appointed and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom had all we needed, with a nicely sized shower. The location was excellent, and afforded us the opportunity to walk to many, different venues. Delicious food...

A comfortable hotel with just a couple of rooms on each floor serviced by a very small lift. The reception is across the road, but the staff were very attentive and if position in Paris and value for money are important then this is the Hotel for you.

Our family of 6 enjoyed a terrific stay at Residence Des Arts/ Ville d'Estrees in Paris. It is a charming boutique hotel, in a perfect location for touring and taking in the sights and sounds of Paris. Particularly noteworthy is the wonderful, extraordinarily helpful staff...Martin and Willy. They helped so much with transportation, dinner reservations and even a cruise on...

An ideal place if you'd rather stay in a place with character and charm than a sterile chain hotel. Clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louvre and other popular sites. Very handy to a wide variety of cafes and bars but away from the noise. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, including printing...

Location:+++++ Service:+++++ Very cosy boutique hotel, with utmost friendly service, exceeding many "big" hotels. To describe it in one word: chic. Recommend for young lovers, elderly couples, business travellers. Family with kids might find another type of hotel more convenient. Hotel is situated in Latin quarter, diveded into two by the street - walking distance to Notre Dame. The room...

I stayed in a standard room this time, although I usually have the large room. I was on a high floor and chose to walk up, although there is a lift in the Residence des Arts. We were given a first floor street side room. Halls were very dark with circular stairs. Our small room and smaller bath was very dated circa 1970 striped red wallpaper. We were extremely surprised that the Windows did keep out the noise as there are two bars outside. Glad to see they are now offering sale prices (half the price...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
