Very nice hotel at Passage Jouffroy; quiet (busy Blvd Montmartre only few steps away but no noise from the street); metro Grands Boulevards very close; feels like coming home - lovely cat Clarinette welcoming you! Friendly people. Basic rooms - basic breakfast but you don't need more for a citytrip. Will certainly come back!

Hotel Chopin has a very friendly staf, which makes you feel welcome from time of arrival and during your stay. It is an old, but neat hotel. Location is special, due to passage jouffroy. And hotel-cat Klarinette made our staf purrrfect.

We've enjoyed both of our lengthy stays at Hotel Chopin. Since it is tucked back in a passage it is quiet and generally quite safe. Unfortunately one of our bags was stolen as it sat briefly unattended in the lobby. Rooms are small but the staff is friendly.

Stayed for one night in “Classic Double” room 406. Very disappointed in the room as it appeared much different then the classic double rooms featured on the hotel’s website and tripadvisor. Those pics made the rooms look cute, quaint, cheery, bright and colorful, and with pretty bedding and curtains. The hotel website describes the classic rooms as “more spacious and...

Hotel Chopin is delightful! It has retained old world charm, with the luxury of a modern bathroom! We stayed in room 204. We used the elevator to carry our luggage, but the curved staircase is a much more charming way to navigate the building. Our room and bathroom were super clean. The room is modest, very basic and European. One...

The rooms are beautifully decorated with antique furniture and wallpaper (while the bathrooms and mattresses are wonderfully modern). Breakfast is ample with fresh orange juice and croissants (and much more). The location is excellent with easy access to the sights and museums. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
